Based on the correspondence I have had with Scott I have reason to believe that it might be an oversight. Especially given the fact that he typed "promoted where applicable." It is a very odd move so I am asking for clarification. I don't think there was a re-submission of his list rather than a copy and paste with a qualifying statement.

...plus I obviously don't want you to get any good players for "free." Let's be honest here.

Derrick, do you ask each manager whether or not they're 'sure' they want to release a player when they're released? Of course not, so why are you doing it here? Scott - Maple Leafs had two submissions, two looks, the guy clarified, he deliberately left out a few prospects sprinkled throughout and said they were being released. I wonder why you didn't ask about those other guys? You can't make moves and then go back on them once you've seen there's interest in said player. He's done this before. It's bush league. I'm not even thrilled he got to keep another player after he used that keeper slot incorrectly. So now he's saved, yet again, Cam Atkinson is taken away, no harm no foul for this guy I guess. What incentive does he have to do things correctly? None. There was a re-submission of his list, he added Cam Atkinson, he put Buchnevich on his farm team, and he clarified that the players left off his list were released.

Furthermore, if you had these concerns initially, wouldn't you have mentioned it to him before I had picked Frost? Or asked him before he had submitted his list yet again without him on it? Come on. This is Day 23. If this is how things go wouldn't that mean I'm still on the clock as well? I could pick the player Jacob - Wild just selected (I won't, just making a point Jacob.) and then who gets screwed for Scott - Maple Leafs' error? Is it Scott - Maple Leafs like it should be? I guess not, I guess I get screwed...and Jacob - Wild. This is fair to you. Crazy.

Unless the league votes to allow Scott yet another redo (assuming the omission was in error), you won't be losing the player in question. I just want some clarification.

Kind of crazy he would release a 112 point forward from last years OHL season.  Makes zero sense at all, clarification would be nice.  Also, what's with all the skipped selections this draft...
