What you don't seem to realize is that you don't make the rules. And this isn't a league that caters to every cry baby that wants to be outraged and start drama for no reason, regardless of how the "league" votes. The league has been infiltrated by a bunch of like minded individuals who are all friends right now, so any "vote" is largely irrelevant. That is my fault, and will be fixed soon.
With that said, there isn't anything wrong with the system that is in place. You are arguing semantics. It literally has no bearing on how the league functions and serves only as a selfish stroke of your ego. I HAVE NEVER MISSED CHANGING A WAIVER DATE OR ADDING A PLAYER TO A TEAM WHEN REQUESTED. The date is changed and the team gets their player for the next day all the same. So what is the problem?

I'm not saying you've missed changing a waiver date. What I'm saying is the option, if it's available, should automatically be made available. In every instance. That's what makes it equal. Or play through the 2 days waiver window. Not to have some changed, some not changed, nothing major but something that needs to be consistent nevertheless. There is zero reason for you to be so angry about this issue, it's stunning to witness, every reaction you get is valid and even scaled back from the disrespect you've shown toward us. Also, no, you won't be 'fixing' anything when it comes to managers. Never before has a manager been removed. Removal of a manager takes 8/12 league approval so you'd be going against the rulebook. If you remove anybody illegally we'll all just bail and continue the league ourselves elsewhere and you can go ahead and find replacements that are even half as good as us. Also, I've never met Coal or Jacob in my entire life and judging by our trade negotiations we are anything but like minded. You and I are way closer and look at how much we disagree. Daniel is my brother, you knew that, and Kyle is my friend, I also notified you of this. We haven't even interacted and every man is his own man. You're making an excuse as to why people don't see something your way. What you don't seem to realize is that you don't make the rules either. You're just one guy. We all make the rules as a collective. That's the point. You aren't any more important than anyone else. You're supposed to be a mediator. You should probably just take a breath and think pragmatically rather than emotionally because this is really getting out of hand. Yes we bicker and argue and poke fun but it's just supposed to be that, all in good fun. It's also part of an entertainment factor that makes things interesting and fun due to participation. You're taking it to a level of seriousness that is both unproductive and ugly. Dishing out unprovoked threats doesn't make you powerful or impressive. It actually achieves the opposite. Anyway, truly, relax! Nobody is trying to do anything that isn't designed to be helpful and/or progressive for the league, I think there's just some miscommunication or lack of overall tone that's missing here. If we all talked in person I know there would be no issues. We give shit to each other constantly.

Terrible trades, short-sightedness, and constant drama have sucked all the fun out of this league and out of fantasy hockey for me. Whoever wants to leave is more than welcome to. Whoever wants to stay can stay. I would much rather have new managers who are skilled and willing to learn than ones who constantly sit at the bottom of the league for years making terrible trades and/or ones who nit-pick every single aspect of the league causing drama at every opportunity.

Bro, I think you're creating the drama here. I don't even fully understand what the problem is? It's a very small issue, you seem to be calling every issue that is questioned or pops up as 'drama'. There are good reasons for why things are questioned, they're even explained in detail with facts and reasoning, maybe every single one of them doesn't need analysis but that's why we bring them up and try to talk about them. I don't think there's reason to be upset that things are questioned. It's a good thing, this is how things can be improved, I'd much rather have people discussing things than staying totally silent. It shows managers care. Also, somebody says something to you, you say something back (your Mom yadda yadda) and we both laugh, have a good time and get focused on improving. If you really don't want that kind of back and forth I understand that too. I honestly thought you loved it for the longest time so I play it up but I don't actually want to be upsetting you, literally the last thing I want out of it. It's just shit talk, doesn't really matter. I don't see which bad trades you're referring to either? They're all pretty decent, some are worse than others, but nothing that's outrageous or anything that I have a problem with. Which trades don't you like? Brooo! Much love, seriously.

I did a quick scan of the trades made this year and the only ones that stand out to me are the ones you made with Chris - Capitals to be honest. You gave him two terrible non-Keeper players (Subban & Mrazek) that have not helped him out whatsoever for a Top 35 great multi-cat utility player who could easily be a Keeper, solid Keeper. You also got a 6th Round Waiver pick in that deal. You gave him another bad player, a dump, of Klefbom, non-Keeper, injured plus a 3rd Entry pick for Fiala, one of the top performing players lately and who could be another solid Keeper option for Chris. Having Wilson & Fiala would make the Capitals far superior to what they are now and could have helped him to compete for the Consolation Bracket Championship. Not only that but his future would be brighter as well having those guys around. I don't understand those trades at all because he doesn't actually gain any value whatsoever for what he gave up. He will wind up with a 3rd Round Entry draft pick in the end for giving up those two plus a 6th Waiver pick. Bizarre.

If only every trade could be analyzed in hindsight. Solid analysis. Good work!
Klefbom mans the point on the top PP in the entire league and is Top 10 in PPP among Dmen despite only playing 59 games. Mrazek has played the 11th most games in the entire league despite missing nearly two weeks, likewise for wins. Subban, a gold medalist, multi-time all-star, who is only 30 years old, could be viewed as a "buy-low." I traded for Fiala on February 24th when he had 41 points, before scoring 10 points in 5 games. At the time of trading for Tom Wilson he was ranked 35th, in the approximately 30 days since the trade he is ranked 259.
I am sure you are aware of all of these things and just accidentally forgot to include them in your completely unbiased, objective analysis.
This is the type of bullshit I am talking about. You excuse awful, awful trades your friends make, going so far as to defend them, and then turn around and word-vomit dishonest, flat out factually incorrect garbage like the above. Not to mention having the audacity to call for the removal of GMs who don't perform well. You either have the worst hockey mind in the history of fantasy sports, or you're just an asshole who likes to cause drama because you don't get enough attention elsewhere. Oh and speaking on not performing well, here is the harsh reality for you illustrated in yearly finishes in the standings...
Washington Capitals
2016 - 6th 2017 - 10th 2018 - 7th 2019 - 9th
Team B
2017 - 12th 2018 - 12th 2019 - 12th
I can assure you team B isn't finishing last literally every single year because of great trades and a sound hockey mind. Multiple times you have called for the Capitals to be removed from the league based on consistently finishing outside of the playoffs. If that is the case then surely team B needs to be removed (long ago) under the same premise. Or does that premise only apply to managers who aren't your "friends?"

You’re really gonna put me under this vague “Team B” bullshit?
Have I made poor trades? Yes, I agree with you completely, but all the “bad” trades really only showed themselves as being that bad after the fact. But we already discussed hindsight as not being a valid form of analysis right?
All I wanted to do was try and make a good team for the future and try and build a dynasty, in my own way. So I’m sorry if it took a couple shitty trades before I realized how a fantasy league is scored and who I should really be keeping. But you’ve made very clear you don’t want me in this league and you, and only you, are making this not fun anymore.
So consider this my formal resignation from the league. I will not be updating anything from this point on. To everyone else, it’s been a slice. To Derek, go fuck yourself.

No. The trades were just as bad at the time as they were after the fact, if not worse. Hence why several of your trade threads have generated league discussion. I'm sorry but "making a good team for the future" and "building a dynasty" does not include trading away Patrik Laine, Rasmus Dahlin, Brock Boeser, and Martin Necas for scraps. Or depleting your team to the point where you don't even have 10 keeper worthy players. Or somehow managing to trade away your 1st, 3rd, and 4th Round Waiver picks with nothing to show for them. Or trading your 1st Round Waiver selection for a 2nd Round Entry Pick. Or trading away Landeskog and Theodore for a 2nd Round Waiver Pick and then turning around and trading back for Landeskog, giving up a 1st and 3rd Round Waiver. But with all this trading activity, surely the rest of the league is benefitting from such poor asset management right? Since joining the league on July 14, 2017 you have made 16 trades. 8 of them have been with the Canucks and 15 have been within your circle of friends (Canucks, Sharks, Golden Knights, Devils). You have made only 1 trade in 3 years with the 7 other teams in the league. So please, continue. Tell me about how your actions are justified, or how your performance is a product of happenstance, or how nobody is doing anything that is harmful to the league.

He's also a -20. Just because he's an average leech doesn't make him worthwhile. He's ranked 330 on Yahoo. Unrosterable. 69th 'best' defenseman. Only 48 defensemen are rosterable putting him well outside the window of usage. He's also injured. He was injured on February 18th and you traded him away to Chris on February 24th. Again, Mrazek sucks. It doesn't matter how much he's playing if in those games he sucks and is untrustworthy getting garbage stats constantly sabotaging your goaltending position, he has no value now or going forward. At best he'll be a career backup from this point on. Subban has a gold medal? He played for Team Canada. All-Star? That's in the past and it doesn't help him moving forward. He sucks. You talk shit about Cory Schneider but then pump Subban like he'll be an All-Star again? It's over. He's a guy who has been traded multiple times. A guy who shit talked his own teammates. He's finished. Fiala had scored 12 points in his last 10 games before you traded for him, he was clearly heating up, that's the reason you got him. You think he just started to play when you got him because you got him? Ahh, no. Tom Wilson is currently ranked 35th best player on Yahoo. It doesn't matter if he's been cold for 30 days, he has done the work to this point to be ranked 35th best player, which puts him in line to be a quality Keeper and somebody who can be expected to perform in the future. I am sure you are aware of all of these things and just accidentally forgot to include them in your completely unbiased, objective analysis. Pretty sure you're being the asshole here dude. Pretty sure even Robyn - Flames would agree with that. Worst hockey mind in the history of fantasy sports? What sense does that make? Have you seen my team? You're projecting. I've done everything I can to diffuse the situation, to be understanding and polite, stick to facts/opinions rather than insults, what's your problem? For real? It must go beyond anything happening here and with us. Chris - Capitals has been here for 14 years and has made the playoffs 1 time. Chris drafted his team with the inaugural draft. Jacob has only been here for a few years and was given a shithouse team. It's not reasonable to expect Jacob to perform well that quickly. You must know the difference. Chris had an extra 10 years to improve his team vs. Jacob. Chris drafted his team. Chris only finished 10 total spots higher than Jacob over the same 3 year window of time. Of course you know the difference. I was mad at Chris at the time I said all of that stuff, while he hasn't performed well he also didn't deserve that and I apologize for going off the way that I did. His trades with you are the only time in the history of the league where I thought another manager was purposely helping out another manager instead of trying to help himself. It was like all of the work I put in meant nothing. Tell me about how your actions are justified, or how your performance is a product of happenstance, or how nobody is doing anything that is harmful to the league. Scraps? What are you talking about Derrick? You must realize Jacob - Wild brought in Kyle Connor, Vladimir Tarasenko, Dougie Hamilton, Alex DeBrincat, Charlie McAvoy, Pekka Rinne & Joonas Korpisalo too, right? Jacob has done more to improve his team over his time here than you have to improve yours over the same period of time. He's been here for a couple of seasons, he did not draft his team like you, he was given a shithouse to work with, he hasn't been here for 14 years like you. Things change at different points in time to elevate or deplete a player's value. Not every single trade is going to be a winner either. It isn't reasonable to expect that. At the end of the day the Minnesota Wild are much better for having Jacob at the helm of the team. His Keeper outlook is extremely positive and even greater than your own, I only count 6 quality Keepers for your team. Your team is filled with artificially inflated ranked players. Where are your defensemen? What happens when Rask dies from old age? Seriously, your team is in grave danger of becoming a Consolation Bracket team. Jacob is polite, active, enthusiastic and has shown an understanding of how to build a team up from the depths. Exactly the kind of presence the league needs especially for a team at the bottom that needs work and patience...and you just pushed him out with your bad attitude and insults. Great. Another thing, our 'circle of friends' take up almost half the league. There are only so many teams to trade with. This isn't indicative of anything but which managers speak with each other and come to an understanding of what each team is in need of. Plenty of teams have their 'go to' managers that they trade with more often than others. You've traded with your collusion buddy Chris - Capitals 3 times for 50% of your total trades to one team over the same period of time. Awful trades that have crippled the Capitals, further setting them back. Trades that made no sense whatsoever. Some of the worst trades I've ever seen in Fantasy Hockey. Another thing, Jacob has made trades with 2 other teams not in our 'circle of friends'. So tell me, Derrick, how can anybody take you seriously when your facts continue to be either dishonest and/or false? How can anybody trust you? Take my advice and take a breath and save face here.

One other thing, you know how competitive I am, you know that it is not acceptable for anybody else to win the league except for me. I've made just a single trade this season, relying on my scouting and drafting skills to supply my team with the assets necessary to win the league and stay in 1st place all season long and possess a team with, by far, the best cumulative Yahoo ranked players. So if I don't have a problem with the trades, why do you? Fear. Weakness. If you need players talk to managers, several of them, all of them. Make it known that you will improve on offers so you don't lose out on assets you desire. To be insulting to pretty much the entire league, from all of us to the bottom placed teams, is not wise. It will not get you the results you're after. Chris - Capitals, never trade with Derrick again. He's bent you over on every single deal man and you should be pissed off about it. You can obviously get more value elsewhere so shop your players properly. Talk to me, if you're actually interested in whipping that team into shape. I'll even provide you with an off-season team audit for free.

"He sucks." Solid analysis, yet again. Bravo. "Can be expected to perform like this in the future." Must be nice to be a fortune teller.
This is a ridiculous statement, and a microcosm of your entire scope of thinking. It literally ONLY matters what Wilson has done in the past 30 days because those are the stats that have been accumulated by my team. The stats that propelled Wilson to the 35th overall player in the league were accumulated by Chris - Capitals at the beginning of the season.
I don't know why you can't seem to grasp this concept but YOUR OPINION does not matter. "He sucks" or "This player will perform a certain way in the future" or "Jacob has shown an understanding of building a team" are not facts, no matter how hard you try to misrepresent them as such. Not only are they not facts, they are just flat out incorrect statements. Facts are represented by statistics.
What Jacob actually has shown is that he has no idea how to build a team. A 30 year old Tarasenko and a 37 year old Rinne are not players you should be acquiring as the last place team in the league, especially not at the expense of your youth/draft picks. And although young, all the other pieces you listed are lower quality and are downgrades as keepers. What Jacob has actually done is inherit an 11th place team and manage to finish dead last EVERY SINGLE YEAR he has been GM, dropping the team a miserable 40 points in the standings. This is a FACT. So please, save us the opinionated sob-story. 3 years is PLENTY of time to turn a last place team into a playoff contender. Look at the teams who have already successfully achieved it. Claiming it is impossible or even improbable is dishonest. You know what helps with rebuilding a team quickly? Not trading away all your damn waiver picks for garbage or downgrading your keepers for a bunch of lesser players.

To Wild: Kyle Connor (GP = 68/Yahoo Rank = 17) Vladimir Tarasenko (GP = 10/Yahoo Rank = 701) (was at a point per game clip before injury) Dougie Hamilton (GP = 47/Yahoo Rank = 50) (despite being injured just more than half way through the year he is STILL the 4th best ranked Fantasy defenseman and was on pace for 69 points pre-injury) Alex Debrincat (GP = 66/Yahoo Rank = 173) (Chicago’s been an underachieving trash heap this season) Danton Heinen (GP = 62/Yahoo Rank = 384) (was touted at the time but has not yet grown into his potential, he is currently a bust) To Canucks: Rasmus Dahlin (GP = 56/Yahoo Rank = 240) (39th ranked Fantasy defenseman, has missed 10 games) Brock Boeser (GP = 56/Yahoo Rank = 122) (Has averaged 62 games played in his 3 “full seasons” with back/groin/rib injuries ) Martin Necas (GP = 60/Yahoo Rank = 296) What are you complaining about here with this trade? You’ve said it yourself before that you aren’t even a huge Dahlin fan, I don’t get it? This is a beast trade for a last place team. The only reason I could afford to make a trade like this is because I had a PLETHORA of talent.

The problem with that trade, like almost every other trade, is that the last place team is giving up the most valuable player in the trade, subsequently downgrading a keeper. The better team gets the better player AND 1 or 2 or 3 extra roster spots for other players to be kept.

Derrick, you've said absolutely nothing of worth, zero. You got schooled. Period. The last place team needs to trade the best player. You think the better team is gonna trade the better player for lesser players? How dumb are you? The last place team is in need of depth. So simple and obvious.
Derrick, you're a scared rabbit. Cruel weakling. Born loser. Forever embarrassed.
