You claim Dallas as the 'highest scoring team in the league' but they're actually in the middle of the pack. Tampa Bay has scored just as many goals. If Dallas didn't score 6 goals against the Blue Jackets they would be near the bottom of the league in goals scored. Maybe you meant goals per game average, nope, they aren't 1st there either. What are you talking about? Tampa has scored as many goals as Dallas...in more games played. And my apologies, I stand corrected, after the Montreal game last night, Dallas is the SECOND highest scoring team in the league...trailing by .26 goals per game. Quit perpetuating your false narrative by attempting to misrepresent the statistics. Dick.

Just stating facts. Not even opinion. Like I said, had they not scored that many goals against the terrible Korpisalo their totals would be near the bottom. They are scoring at that pace in the very early stages of the season. As stated, last season they were tied for the 3rd worst offensive team.

Take a game worth of goals out of any teams total less than 10 games into the season and I'd say it puts most teams towards the bottom of the league.

I'm pretty sure most teams don't score 6 goals a game. It is a good point that it's only about 10 games into the season, probably shouldn't be crediting the Dallas Stars with the best offense in the league at this point, seeing as they were tied for 3rd worst offense last season.

Agree that it's a small sample size this year however in the bubble last year they also showed an increase in offense, just saying. I'm also pretty sure that across the divisons (other than the east) that scoring is up - Doesn't McDavid and Dris pretty much put up 6 a night??

Oh they're definitely better than 3rd worst, I just think they're more middle of the pack rather than top of the league. Draisaitl & McDavid are two of the best players in the league, it's expected. 6 goals or more have only been scored 6 times by a team in the past week out of a ton of games so I don't think it's the norm.

Nope, that's not true! There have been a ton of games, I'd know, I'm a bettor! 6 goals is definitely not the norm, come on now. Even if you counted just those games there were 6 teams that those scoring teams faced that did not score 6 goals, 50%, then you can go ahead and count alllllll the other games, which is a TON! Derrick! I don't need this, I need to be very productive today!
