NAFHL headquarters has announced that starting in the Summer of '08, it will be brining several new jobs to the community. What does that mean for you?
Everything from the likes of "Pick 'em" organizer, head writer, lead trade analyzer, draft specialist, and scout, to name a few. Other jobs are in the pre-development stage and suggestions are more than welcome.
Benefits include personalized forum with complete moderation of that forum. 401k, and health benefits.
This "expansion" is to lighten the load on your NAFHL owner, president, and CEO but more importantly increase league activity, participation, interest, and interaction.
Interviews and screening will begin immediately upon expressed interest.

Sweet, more interaction is always a good thing. As I discussed with you, I'll do whatever you need me to do, just let me know. No janitorial duties though, bummies can take care of that.

ok guys we need to get active, we need to have different articles to read on the website, we need to get a replacement in line for vancouver we need things done and derr im wanting to help with that I think we should compile a list of jobs and make this more then just a discussion and what we need is to compile oa list of GM's that will be active and competitive in NAFHL now im interested in taking over the Role of Head of Hiring(i will think of a better title) I have been promoting NAFHL to a few forums and I forwarder some people tat were interested now im not sure how that worked out and i actually have another guy who is very interested im just waiting to here back if he has msn but I think derr if you make up an application that a potential manager has to fill out then it saves you from doing hardly any work and the managers that will be on the list will be capable elite managers. some jobs that I think need to be filled are:
1)Head of Hiring(head Scout) 2)Trade Analyzer 3)Head Writer(writes interest articles) 4)special writer(new title to come, basically types up player of the week/month articles) 5)Special Writer #2 (new title also to come, types up power rankings) 6)Pick 'em" organizer 7)draft specialist
I tihnk we really need to pull up our socks to get this initiative(sp?) off the ground who else is with me?

The Vancouver GM position has been filled. Like with several other issues, I have chosen to wait until after the playoffs to announce the news. We have waited all year for the playoffs, no need to take away from the fun and cause any uneccessary "distraction" right now.

I agree with this sentiment, but I'm just kind of curious if Derrick has picked a day to "unveil" the new GM or when to address those mysterious "TBA" polls he's created.

April 7. That is in the year 2008. Of the Gregorian calender. Just so there isn't any ambiguity.

NAFHL occupations will begin screening after everyone submits their roster/rosters so start thinking about how you would like to contribute, generate new ideas, etc. This is gearing up for yet another (more efficient) NAFHL website upgrade in the summer. We will call it Version 4.0

i can be lead trade analyst.
i'll start right now. my impartial judgment tells me that SJ will make a good trade by giving up Sidney Crosby to Boston for Brad Richards.

Vacation time is over, it is time to assume some responsibility once again. Start by applying for one of these great duties available to you. Once again, I will hear out any requests in hopes of making the league fun, and more interactive.

I wasn't sure where to post this but if the Sabres team needs a new manager I think it would be wise to try and find somebody suitable before the keeper deadline since his team is going to lose quite a few solid players. Are you close to finding somebody?
