I sent down a prospect not a minor leaguer?? There has always been calling up and sending down of prospects in the playoffs. That’s where depth comes in.
I recalled a minor leaguer so I see how I cannot send Sparks back down now but that’s my own decision.

I sent down a prospect not a minor leaguer?? There has always been calling up and sending down of prospects in the playoffs. That’s where depth comes in. I recalled a minor leaguer so I see how I cannot send Sparks back down now but that’s my own decision. NO player may be recalled from the farm unless there is an injury. NO free agent may be signed at all. Recalling prospects freely used to be a thing until a GM streamed 7-10 NHL ready prospects from his farm every day to cheat his way to a championship. "Depth" is being able to recall the players from your farm in the event of an injury, not streaming 29 players to gain an unfair advantage. |
