Sidenote: What ever happened to the "awards" that happened at the end of the season? In one of the earlier years, we did a few awards with the commish nominating 3 teams and then we got to vote for a winner in categories like best offense, best team D, most injury plagued, best farm, etc.

If we implemented awards again my team would win all of them, I figured it was just understood, so they were taken out. I'm not sure what you mean by Anaheim and Malkin, Carolina owns Malkin, we were talking about a Malkin trade, and Carolina was eliminated in the first round, hence the golfing picture. Malkin has no chance to win the cup in the NAFHL. Brian Elliott continues his dominance, 3 shutouts in a row, 9 on the year splitting time. What a fucking beast. He makes all the difference.

By the way, Derrick and I have been friends for over 10 years, the shit we give each other is out of love as much as it is out of hate. Looks like Part III might have to wait though, Calgary is kicking some serious ass, looks like Robyn will be in the finals with me...and get his ass handed to him.

Most sent down minor league goalie? Haha

Combining Chris's suggestions, here's a quick list I think would be fun: -biggest surprise team -most dissapointing team -best overall team -toilet team (worst overall) -Best GM -best farm team -biggest diva -most gentlemanly you can jazz them up with funny names, too.

Huge day of hockey today for the Flames/Sens matchup, Robyn has the inside track but anything can happen it's that close. It's been a battle all week. My week has been locked up for a while, sorry Hannu, I always knew your team was about a year away in development to make a big splash, still 3rd would be huge for the franchise and I expect your team to be contending next year and there after, especially with some smart management. Good luck to Derrick & Robyn! I'll see one of you soon.

Wow, Derrick's playing for 3rd. Tough luck man, evaluate your team in the off-season, be better for this loss. You have some work to do. Big congrats to the Calgary franchise for their first finals berth but in this matchup I'm Batman to Calgary's Robyn.

Thanks man, feels good being in the top 3 again, the only team to do so every single year. It's not showing off...if you back it up. Seriously though, is anybody rooting for me to win?

My goalies get shutouts. That's just what they do. If you want to beat me you have to deal with that fact. Devan Dubnyk had a hell of a game too, he's playing lights out and will be huge next season for Edmonton. He's part of the reason I felt comfortable letting Schneider go. Him and the emergence of the brick wall known as Brian Elliott. Jonathan Quick is the BEST IN THE WORLD! He just about has the Vezina locked up now.
