I thought we established last season that the waiver priority was the order for the prospect draft. I purposely didn't use mine near end of season thinking I was getting 3rd prospect pick??

Only 6 GM's voted, and of those votes, several kept flip flopping. I personally am indifferent on the issue. A case could be made for either system. In any event, should a poll not reach a decision establishing a rule change, the original rule remains in place. So per usual, I used a random list that generated the order you see above. |

Since the lockout has extended the season well into the summer, the "Prospect Draft" will be delayed until the real life playoffs have concluded (a lot of teams sign "free agent" players post-playoffs). I feel as though this will do the draft the most justice. A new date will be announced well in advance (somewhere between the Entry Draft and the Waiver Draft if I had to guess).

The (postponed) Prospect Draft will begin this coming Monday, July 15, 2013, at 12:00 PM EST. All non-rostered prospects are available to be drafted, including those from the 2013 draft class.
