Stepping down.

Hi everyone,

As some of you might have noticed I've spent way less time being involved in the league and managing my team over the past season. I started a company a while back and it's been taking 99% of my time and energy ever since. I've known for some time now that I will be stepping down after the season is over, but I didn't want to create any unnecessary distraction during the season/playoffs. I did notice Derrick of my intentions privately some time ago though and hopefully he already has someone qualified in mind to take over the franchise.

I'll leave behind a team in good shape, certainly much better than what I took over. Overall I'm a little bit disappointed not having won the championship during my time though. There's been some really good times and some drama filled times, but I'm happy having been part of the league and enjoyed my time here. Thanks to all of you for making this a great league.

Thanks guys, Derrick asked me to make a playoff entry for Hurricanes so the new GM has a chance of getting an extra keeper slot so I did that as my last thing as Carolina GM.
