Continued from the previous thread. Please vote for which trade you believe represents a fair modification.

A couple things, the excuse of 'I've already traded away my 3rd.' to dodge paying what's fair doesn't really fly with me because it's not about what you have to trade but what the player you're trading for is worth, and Marchand is worth a whole lot. If Winnipeg prefers to keep the 2018 2nd Round Waiver pick because of previous deals then his 2019 2nd Round Waiver pick could be put in its place. Additionally, the fact that Tyler agreed to modify the trade proves he didn't think the deal was fair, thus his vote was a form of perjury and should not only be eliminated from the poll but applied to the other side making it a 7-5 veto.

You always have something to say. I agreed to amend the trade only because of this bullshit poll. I never once said the original trade wasn’t fair. Adding in any waiver pick from my side is overpaying for Marchand. I appreciate you going above and beyond the league to rearrange my entire trade and undermine the commissioner completely. I’ll be sure to check with you prior to posting trades in the future to make sure the all mighty Nos approves. This is being blown way out of proportion and taking way to long to come to a resolution. The trade was completed on yahoo and the forum roster changes were made until someone decided to make things complicated by switching their vote.

I don't think one necessarily implies the other. There are many reasons Tyler could agree to modify the trade, including the one he listed. As for this poll, it is meant to alleviate the burden of waiting 3 days for the other poll to end, renegotiating an inevitable new deal, posting a new deal, etc. It is better to have an amended trade in place so this issue can be resolved one way or the other.

Adding in any waiver pick from my side is overpaying for Marchand. In a multi-player for one player deal like this, many people often overlook the fact that there is value in empty roster spots. I think that is what most people are taking exception to. Trading 3 for 1 can swing the value of a trade pretty significantly in one direction or both. In this particular case the trade is actually something like this: Vegas Trades: Marchand Werenski Bjorkstrand 2nd Round Waiver for McDonagh Zaitsev Pavelski Or another way to look at it would be: Winnipeg Receives: Marchand 2nd Round Waiver Free Agent/Farm Player Free Agent/Farm Player for McDonagh Zaitsev Pavelski

I don't think one necessarily implies the other. Why is that? There are only a couple of scenarios, what's more likely to be true? 1. Winnipeg always thought the trade was fair but still agrees to rework it to his disadvantage, thus turning it from a fair trade into an unfair trade, again, to his disadvantage...why? 2. Winnipeg didn't think the trade was fair and in an attempt to push the trade through, and to save face, agrees to rework the trade for a fairer outcome. This is common sense stuff. How am I 'undermining' the Commissioner Tyler? If you make statements like that you better back them up with facts or look like a fool. All I've done is give my personal assessment of things and it seems to have really ruffled your feathers, I wonder why? Could it be because there's truth behind what I say and that you aren't ready and willing to confront it? No matter what happens you will not be overpaying for Marchand and that's the real tragedy. He should be someone you overpay for. Finally, a bit of self service, do you know how hard I have to work to get anybody to even listen to my offers? Yet this is the type of straight up BS that goes through? There's something wrong with this scenario, any way you look at it.

Furthermore, that Detroit/Vegas trade is just as bad as this one and really should be put under the same microscope for approval.

Again you just arrack my character. I’m done dealing with you and arguing of a perfectly fair and legal trade with an irrational boob. I have more important things going on in my life. The league can decide whatever it wants. Let’s remember Stamkos acquired for Logan Couture package steal for Nos after 1 season. Taylor Hall acquired in a fucking Johnathon Bernier package lol again Nos steal Then there is Laine which has elegantly been argued to be a good trade but in reality bullshit. Again the league can decide whatever it wants but I’m out of this back and forth pettiness. If anyone has trade offers come deadline time send PM’s my way.

Again you just arrack my character. Where did I do this? Your character is there for all to see. Arrack?? Why would your character ever be arracked? I’m done dealing with you No you're not, this is something said by people who aren't with it, it's business. If you can improve your team with a deal you'll make a deal. You can't always deal with your friends Tyler, as much as you'd like that to be true. and arguing of a perfectly fair and legal trade This is anything but perfectly fair and legal, it's actually neither of these things and has been proven, with facts, as such. I'm actually surprised, and disappointed, more hasn't been done about this. Woooow, Tyler! Breaking out the schoolyard disses, can't say I'm surprised, coming from such a juvenile mind. I have more important things going on in my life. No you don't, you've got nooothing going on buddy. Also, nobody cares. The league can decide whatever it wants. Yup, that's the idea! Everybody knows that already, Tyler! Let’s remember Stamkos acquired for Logan Couture package steal for Nos after 1 season. It was Couture, Skinner, Backes & Kesler, and at the time that was severe over payment. Also, Couture is an awesome player to this day, he'll be even more awesome when he gets more opportunity when the Joey's bail one after the other from old age. Taylor Hall acquired in a fucking Johnathon Bernier package lol again Nos steal At the time Hall's previous 3 seasons saw him with 42 points, 53 points and 50 points. He was far from the star he is today. Bernier was a #1 goalie, he remains a #1 goalie, a pretty good one at that. The trade also, you always forget about those also's, the meat, the facts of an argument...which, really, are what makes an argument fly. You get me? Where was I? Oh yeah, the trade also sent, along with Bernier, Mats Zuccarello, a decent player in his own right. As well as, at the time, a blue chip prospect in 10th Overall pick, 6'4" 205 lb Valeri Nichushkin who, like The Terminator, will be back. Then there is Laine which has elegantly been argued to be a good trade but in reality bullshit. Damn right it's been elegantly argued, I'm an elegant motherfucker, and 'in reality' you can't and didn't argue the other side well at all...because it couldn't be done. 'Bullshit' this guy says, elegance. Again the league can decide whatever it wants Tyler! Again!...We know that! but I’m out of this back and forth pettiness. The only one being petty here is you buddy. I argue the side I believe in, the side I can rationalize, I provide facts, a pointed argument. You provide dick and you insult me, petty insults. I feel I've stayed fairly neutral but if you poke and prod a Shark you're gonna get the teeth, ya feel meh?? If anyone has trade offers come deadline time send PM’s my way. You're selling right?

Let me make this really simple... Reverse all roster moves Vegas has made since i took over. I formally announce my departure from NAFHL. All of this nonsense is not my idea of a fun fantasy hockey league. Thank you for the oppurtunity Derrick but I feel its best to step down.
