On behalf of the Vancouver Canucks organization, I extend my congratulations to Derrick and his Ottawa Senators for capturing the 2018 NAFHL Stanley Cup Championship!  Your boys really showed up to the rink in impressive fashion for the final weeks of playoff action, allowing them to hoist the prestigious trophy for the 4th time in franchise history.  I also congratulate Coal and the Las Vegas Golden Knights for sneaking their way into the playoffs in their inaugural season after Coal took over the reigns as General Manager.  The Golden Knights were able to take out some heavyweight competition in handing the San Jose Sharks their first 5th place playoff exit in their 12-year franchise history by a single penalty, in addition to eliminating the Vancouver Canucks by a single goal and an assist.

I look forward to a busy and involved off-season, and another thrilling season next year.  However, we still have another battle to be decided for the coveted extra keeper slot in the race for the playoff pool champion!
