In honor of all the degenerate Americans celebrating Thanksgiving today, I thought I would take this opportunity to say "Have a good one!" But more importantly, I want to take this opportunity to have a light-hearted moment and ask all of you what you are thankful for in your lives as it relates to hockey and/or your fellow league mates. I will start. Shout out to pro boards for hosting us and recording our history as we create it. Not only is it fun to look back on but it keeps us all honest. I am so thankful for posts like these. Phew! Now, let's focus a bit on your deals just for the sake of an opposing view. Didn't you just screw over Chris - Capitals for his best player? Yeah, traded...who?? Oh yeah, Ryan Strome, a dropped Ryan Strome, for Alexander Radulov! That was Chris' best player, alright? He ended up being your 3rd best player and you kept the guy. The best team in the league found reason enough to keep the guy and Chris didn't see him as a Keeper? The San Jose Sharks are proud to select with the 104th overall pick in the 9th round of the 2019 NAFHL Waiver Draft, Ryan Strome. The same Ryan Strome that is still rostered by the San Jose Sharks and is its 5th best player (per Yahoo).

And as long as we are on the subject of giving thanks. I'd like to thank all of you who have donated your best players to league's most active charity. Such selflessness should be commended. To Minnesota: Cory Schneider Charlie McAvoy Jay O’Brien To San Jose: Patrik Laine I accept. The Minnesota Wild release Cory Schneider, sign Jonathan Bernier

Right. That was then, this is now. Ryan Strome was selected with a 9th Round Waiver pick, the 4th last pick in the entire draft. Chris - Capitals used up all of his picks without picking him. Ryan Strome was dropped earlier in the year and cleared Waivers. So that shows you how much value Ryan Strome had to Chris - Capitals and the rest of the entire league. I don't think anybody could have predicted the fall of Cory Schneider, I still don't really get it other than to say the New Jersey Devils suck and have disrespected him by laying blame at his feet when their defense is embarrassing, ranked 27th this year, 26th last year. Cory Schneider's career Save Percentage is ranked 13th best all-time and 5th best all-time for goalies with at least 400 games played. Nice of you to kick a guy in the face while he's down though Derr, classy. Big tough guy! As long as we're giving thanks, I'd like to thank managers who hold onto players for so long they become worthless but are nevertheless taking up valuable roster space weakening your team because you just...can't...drop them. Players like P.K. Subban, Brandon Montour, Devan Dubnyk, Phil Kessel, Martin Jones, etc. By the way, how's the league's #1 PPQB Erik Gustafsson doing? How are the Los Angeles Kings doing in their bounce-back year? How's Corey Perry doing? How are the majority of the top picks of each round you selected doing? Josh Anderson? Shayne Gostisbehere? Gustav Nyquist? Dustin Brown? Most of all I'd like to give thanks for amateurs who believe they're professionals.

We aren’t debating others assement of Strome, we are debating how hypocritical you are. You said Strome was trash (when it was convenient for you) and I told you he was a valuable fantasy asset. I can not be held responsible for how the rest of the league values players. . I’m not sure what you mean by this whereas the majority of my argument opposing this trade back then was the same as it is now: Schneider isn’t that talented and is a product of the defense in front him. You can attempt to skew the statistics to support your claim all you would like but a GAA over 2.80 and a save % of under .909 for FOUR straight seasons doesn’t scream “talented goalie.” Says the guy sitting in 4th place who has a 3-4 weekly record so far this season. Who lost to me...again. Who can’t seem to figure out that, even after collapsing last year, needs more than just a bunch of young forwards who score a lot to compete... ... FINALLY we agree on something.

I never said Strome was trash, I said he wasn't anywhere near as valuable an asset as Radulov was at the time. If you thought he was so valuable you would have drafted the guy or picked him up when he cleared Waivers. You thought nothing of him. Schneider has played for average to weak teams, no idea what you're talking about, has never won 30 games in a season. How am I skewing statistics exactly? It's not possible, it's all there plain to see. So Schneider having a Top 5 of all time Save Percentage for goalies with at least 400 games played is meaningless to you? Got it, great analysis as usual. How about the other years before that with Save Percentages of .924, .925, .921, .927, .937, .929? This trade was made years ago. Schneider was a stud and absolutely has the talent to be a great goalie again. Goalies can't all be playing for the Bruins. Yeah, how does a team with a losing record sit in 4th place anyway? You're just 3 points ahead of me, finally passed me this past week, I take categories. You know why my team is struggling, it's been decimated by injuries, nothing more. Situational advantage is also very much present, extra starts, whatever it is it has nothing to do with the talent of my team or how well equipped we are to win. Take a look at my cumulative stats and ranks even with all of these brutal injuries. Don't play stupid, there's enough of that going on in your mind without you playing it up too. When my team is at full power nobody can touch us. It's cute you believe it.

[Chorus: Charlie Puth] It's been a long day without you, my friend And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again We've come a long way from where we began Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again When I see you again
[Verse 1: Wiz Khalifa] Damn, who knew? All the planes we flew, good things we been through That I'd be standing right here talking to you 'Bout another path, I know we loved to hit the road and laugh But something told me that it wouldn't last Had to switch up, look at things different, see the bigger picture Those were the days, hard work forever pays Now I see you in a better place (See you in a better place) Uh
[Refrain: Wiz Khalifa] How can we not talk about family when family's all that we got? Everything I went through, you were standing there by my side And now you gon' be with me for the last ride
[Chorus: Charlie Puth & (Wiz Khalifa)] It's been a long day without you, my friend And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again (I'll see you again) We've come a long way (Yeah, we came a long way) from where we began (You know we started) Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again (I'll tell you) When I see you again
[Post-Chorus: Charlie Puth] Aah oh, aah oh Wooooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh Yeah
[Verse 2: Wiz Khalifa] First, you both go out your way and the vibe is feeling strong And what's small turned to a friendship, a friendship turned to a bond And that bond will never be broken, the love will never get lost (The love will never get lost) And when brotherhood come first, then the line will never be crossed Established it on our own when that line had to be drawn And that line is what we reached, so remember me when I'm gone (Remember me when I'm gone)
[Refrain: Wiz Khalifa] How can we not talk about family when family's all that we got? Everything I went through you were standing there by my side And now you gon' be with me for the last ride
[Bridge: Charlie Puth] So let the light guide your way, yeah Hold every memory as you go And every road you take Will always lead you home, home
[Chorus: Charlie Puth] It's been a long day without you, my friend And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again We've come a long way from where we began Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again When I see you again
[Post-Chorus: Charlie Puth & Wiz Khalifa] Aah oh, aah oh (Uh) Yeah (Yeah) Wooooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh (Yo) When I see you again (Yo, uh) See you again (Yo, yo) Oh-oh (Uh-huh) (Yup) When I see you again
