It looks like nobody else is going to chime in, so regrettably this will be the format that we will use.

Must be nice to have a playoff eligible goalie who accumulates stats. Who else thinks I should be able to drop dead weight and use Vatanen who is on my IR? It’s a flawed system I tell you!

Two of my goalies have been eliminated, the other isn't even guaranteed starts, and I have the best tandem in the league!! Anything can happen!

We could potentially approve a single move to be made per round for every team, either taking someone off IR or calling someone up from the farm. All Waiver rules would still apply, for instance, if you call up a Minor Leaguer you'd have to use a Keeper Slot on him or lose him because he wouldn't be eligible to be sent back to the farm. The Qualifying Round will continue without any moves applied though.

Per round might actually be too much, maybe just the first 2 rounds of the playoffs, 2 total moves, 1 at each round start.

As much as it will do little to benefit myself i think having 1 move in the 1st 2 rounds is fair.
All the same call up rules apply.
Would call ups only be allowed for injuries?
I think replacing an eliminated player is taking it a little to far

I think replacing an eliminated player is taking it a little to far Yes, I would imagine we'd stick by our Playoff format rules where injured players could be replaced, however, if a team has a player on the IR who is no longer injured he can be brought onto a team by dropping anybody obviously. If you're recalling somebody from the farm, though, you'd have to be doing it to replace an injured player only. One more thing to consider, you should have Keepers in mind as well, because if you drop somebody they're gone to the next set of drafts. Obviously you can't drop somebody you want to later keep. All potential Keepers should be on your team. Day 07: Winnipeg Jets: 11 Vancouver Canucks: 8 Vegas Golden Knights: 8 Toronto Maple Leafs: 8 Anaheim Ducks: 6 Ottawa Senators: 6 Washington Capitals: 5 New Jersey Devils: 4 Detroit Red Wings: 4 Calgary Flames: 4 Minnesota Wild: 3 San Jose Sharks: 2 Total: Vancouver Canucks: 44 Ottawa Senators: 37 Winnipeg Jets: 37 San Jose Sharks: 36 New Jersey Devils: 34 Washington Capitals: 32 Anaheim Ducks: 32 Calgary Flames: 31 Vegas Golden Knights: 28 Toronto Maple Leafs: 27 Minnesota Wild: 26 Detroit Red Wings: 25

Sorry for the delayed update! It was our weekly Joe Bob Briggs night last night, got shitfaced and watched Blood Feast, Ice Cream Man & The People Under the Stairs! All hosted by Joe Bob Briggs you guys! What a blast. Derrick, you used to watch a lot of horror, what have you watched lately?? Day 08: San Jose Sharks: 6 Washington Capitals: 4 New Jersey Devils: 4 Vancouver Canucks: 3 Minnesota Wild: 2 Ottawa Senators: 1 Calgary Flames: 1 Winnipeg Jets: 0 Vegas Golden Knights: 0 Toronto Maple Leafs: 0 Anaheim Ducks: 0 Detroit Red Wings: 0 Total: Vancouver Canucks: 47 San Jose Sharks: 42 Ottawa Senators: 38 New Jersey Devils: 38 Winnipeg Jets: 37 Washington Capitals: 36 Anaheim Ducks: 32 Calgary Flames: 32 Vegas Golden Knights: 28 Minnesota Wild: 28 Toronto Maple Leafs: 27 Detroit Red Wings: 25 Day 09: Minnesota Wild: 5 Toronto Maple Leafs: 5 New Jersey Devils: 2 Ottawa Senators: 2 Winnipeg Jets: 1 Vegas Golden Knights: 1 San Jose Sharks: 0 Washington Capitals: 0 Vancouver Canucks: 0 Calgary Flames: 0 Anaheim Ducks: 0 Detroit Red Wings: 0 Total: Vancouver Canucks: 47 San Jose Sharks: 42 Ottawa Senators: 40 New Jersey Devils: 40 Winnipeg Jets: 38 Washington Capitals: 36 Minnesota Wild: 33 Anaheim Ducks: 32 Calgary Flames: 32 Toronto Maple Leafs: 32 Vegas Golden Knights: 29 Detroit Red Wings: 25 Also, I'm going to go ahead and approve a single move to be made by each team at the start of the 1st and 2nd rounds of the playoffs. Should you want to make a move, be it taking someone off of IR or replacing an injured player with a farm player, make a post in this thread before first puck drop of the 1st round. No moves will be permitted afterwards. I'll make note of it and continue tallying the numbers accordingly. The reason I've decided to permit minimal moves is because we'd be able to make moves in the playoffs for these purposes anyway but at the same time we need to keep things fairly simple and easy to follow and double check, which is why I feel a single move per first two rounds is reasonable. I will note the amount of points the added player had during the Qualifying Round so we can knock it off at the end when recounting totals to make sure everything is correct. So pumped for the Stanley Cup Playoffs to officially begin! So many great teams got ousted during the Qualifying Round, crazy!
