2024 Official Keeper Submission

[Nos - Sharks]

Please submit your list of keepers (including farm teams) here, on or before Monday, July 15th, 2024. Keep in mind that keepers may be submitted and/or changed any time from now until 11:59 PM EST on Monday, July 15th, 2024. If you do not submit a list of keepers the ten highest O-Rank players (according to Yahoo) will be kept for you and/or the most current Farm Rosters as indicated by each respective NAFHL team page.

**Please update the age and games played (as of June 1st) for each player on your farm teams when you submit your keepers. Thanks.**



*This is a tentative upcoming schedule that I think could work well but will remain flexible and could change once Derrick returns. Let me know if you guys are cool with the dates, I went for start of the week Mondays.

Monday, August 12th, 2024: 2024 Entry Draft
Monday, August 26th, 2024: 2024 Waiver Draft
Friday, October 4th, 2024: 2024-25 NHL Season Starts!

The suspended waivers change you described is morelogical having a player dissappear into suspension purgatory never really made much sense but we would need to agree on a time window until the player could be available for pickup.

It is rare that a forward being scratched last minute really screws up a week but the goalies are justified. I had to scramble around to try and make starts in the playoffs which in the end was unsuccessful. The danger lies in potential abuse of this during the regular season but in the playoffs where rosters lock I fully support same day call ups for goalies.

As for this one it's hard to change something that's so ingrained it would definitely flip flop alot of players value but eventually it would even out.

Just some quick thoughts!

Let's go ahead and push it to Monday, July 15th, 2024. I just want everybody to be ready and prepared but we do have to get going. Try to get it in tomorrow but if you can't at least say something in this thread if you haven't already so we all know you're ready to go and the dates are cool with you. So far the only managers who we haven't heard from are...

I know you might want to make cuts, make space for your upcoming draft picks, but I would highly suggest keeping them all on there until you have to make cuts. You might find someone who's interested in the prospect, even if it's just an add on in a trade. You can update your farm teams until the start of the Entry Draft next Monday.
