The draft is officially on hold until we agree on a general consensus. Please vote ASAP.

I'm casting my vote for the Yahoo Pre-Season O-Rank as this method takes into account players that were injured and missed significant time the previous season.

The league has majority voted 7-1 in favor of using the "Yahoo Pre-Season O-Rank Auto-Draft Method". The draft will now resume...

If it comes down the line that there is a really egregious glaring pick we can reasses then. Positional needs obviously need to be taken into consideration (his team is weak on RW), so let's all keep in touch with how this situation develops. For now, I think the upcoming selection for Derrick's team is obvious.

I'd be fine with O-Rank but I think some discretion should be used. Of the available players using pre-season rank, Coleman is ranked 3rd and projected for 38 pts! He legitimately may not be picked in the draft. That would be a joke to me. Further down at 8 and 9, Danault and Killorn. Then there's a stretch of Jenner, Stephenson, Marchment, W. Karlsson, Zucker, Ekholm ahead of incredibly skilled players on top lines and number 1 dmen that either had bad seasons or changed teams. Imagine he gets autodrafted Coleman and Nelson is there. Or it goes down the list and Danault is taken, then next off is Erik Karlsson or Gaudreau. I think I wouldn't be the only GM that would not like that

Oh you messaged, i was typing for a while. O-Rank, cool. At least some discretion is all I'm saying. Forward position shouldn't matter too much, Yahoo is position add happy haha

^ You make good points, tricky situation, I'm not sure I agree with Coleman being on your list of 'joke' players but overall I get it. Maybe we can have a poll for each pick with the Top 5 O-Rank players available asking the league which player the Senators need most? Or just consult with each other.

I think we're all on the same page and have a bit of a gameplan.

I don't think he's a joke, but taking him over who's available, that would be the joke. His ranking is like Angel Hernadez, it's just bad Angel... lol Daniels pick proves my point though. Karlsson is definitely a top fantasy asset, and would have been a good add despite having full defense. He can put up forward numbers. He was ranked 168 to Coleman's 80. That is insane lol. And there's more like that. But it's all good, were on the same page
