I was just curious to see what everyone thinks of the trade deadline deals now that some time has passed and we can see the playoff implications of the moves. Here are some of my quick thoughts and feel free to make your own comments on winners/losers of the draft or some specific trades:
San Jose Sharks: Loser
acquired Sundin, Demitra
gave up: Fehr, 2nd rd waiver, 3rd rd waiver
Sundin & Demitra have been injured during the Sharks' playoff run, so basically Nos gave up 2 solid waiver picks for a pair of guys whose biggest contributions so far were to take up 2 roster spots. On the bright side, at least Demitra played last week and the price he paid for both players wasn't too steep. However, its painful since Sundin's injury during the extremely close 2nd rd against Columbus almost definitely cost Nos a chance at the championship. One must wonder what would've happened to San Jose's playoff fate if he never pulled the trigger on that midnight-hour trade?

Pittsburgh Penguins: Winner
acquired: 3rd rd waiver ('09), 1st rd waiver, Drury, Crawford
gave up: Forsberg, 3rd rd waiver, 2nd rd prospect, Marleau
As it turns out, the Penguins traded Marleau for the #1 or #2 waiver pick (a solid trade for both teams involved) and more importantly they cleared up roster space for stellar rookie Mueller. They picked up Drury for a playoff run and were able to snag a prospect, Crawford, for the long-term in the same deal. Also, getting a future 3rd rd waiver was a great move for Forsberg, who shocked the hockey world by getting injured, again, and might won't be back in the NHL next year.

Ottawa Senators: Winner (just barely)
acquired: Selanne, Avery, Budaj, Green, Enroth, Voracek
gave up: Langenbrunner, Souray, Filppula, 2x 1st rd prospect, 2x 2nd rd prospect, 2x 3rd rd waiver, 9th rd waiver
Avery was a good pickup and not too expensive. Selanne was a huge reason why Ottawa dominated offensively in the playoffs. However, was it worth the price of admission for Derrick since Ottawa finished in 5th place because his goaltending didn't show up? Hindsight is always 20/20 and I say "no." But the key to Derrick's "winner" status was snagging Budaj, Green, and Voracek for the long term. Ottawa gave up a middle of the round 1st rd prospect pick, a 2nd rd pick, a defenseman that he was going to lose in the waiver draft, and a solid/good prospect for a young #1b goalie, one of the top young defensemen in the league, and a very good prospect. To top it off, he can "stash" these players on his farm team and keep them for free thanks to a clause he created this preseason.

Montreal Canadiens: Winner
acquired: 3rd rd waiver pick, 6th rd waiver pick, Ramo
gave up: Kubina, Fernandez
Montreal made one of the best trades of the deadline by dealing streaky defenseman Kubina for a 3rd rd waiver pick and an intriguing goaltending prospect (Ramo). Turning Fernandez into an extra pick was nice, too, since in all likelihood Montreal wasn't going to keep him after this season anyways.

Toronto Maple Leafs: Winner
acquired: 1st rd prospect pick, 2x 2nd rd prospect pick, 2x 3rd rd waiver picks
gave up: Drury, Crawford, Selanne
Andrew gets full marks for extracting everything he could for renting out Selanne. It was a great move and will help him on his way to rebuilding his team. He was also able to deal one of his "non-keeper" players (Drury) into more picks.
