Hey Derr as per Rule 3B Only during the off-season may teams exceed the maximum number of roster players via trade or draft position; Free Agent signing does not apply.
can i not be over the roster limit until rosters are due? I just cant pick up any Free Agents

3B) At no point during the season or offseason may a team exceed the maximum roster limit for his/her roster and/or farm team.

I actually think it's stupid that these guys have been able to stay one, two or even three players over the limit with no penalty. Derrick has been too lenient.  In my opinion the players that were picked resulting in too many roster spaces used should be thrown back into the waiver pool. A roster move should be made within 15-30 minutes of a draft pick that results in too many players. Just my opinion! ;D |
