D) A post must be made within 24 hours on each teams respective transaction thread on the forum for every farm transaction that is being made. As per 11D in the NAFHL Rulebook, Derrick is in violation for failing to send down Quinn Hughes. The Waiver Date for Hughes has already been changed which makes it impossible for any team to claim him. There are currently no set reprimands for violating this rule. Protocol needs to be consistently followed or GMs will suffer the consequences. Failing to do so there will always be confusion/chaos.

I actually did make a post sending Hughes down but it got lost when the forum crashed yesterday and was reloaded from a previous time and date. I just forgot to re-post it. So double-check to see if there are any posts or transactions missing elsewhere that I have not noticed. Also, if someone isn't/hasn't gotten back to you via PM, there is a good chance it was never received so you might want to go ahead and send another message just in case. But that isn't the real issue here. The real issue here is that neither you, Daniel, or your brother Nos are administrators on the forum, nor are you the commissioner of the league so stop acting like it. Your intent is not honest and it is not for the betterment of the league. Someone who had the best interest of the league in mind would have gone about handling this issue in a much more productive way. Say for instance, like pointing out an observed issue BEFORE it was too late and/or giving the individual the benefit of the doubt instead of being accusatory and waiting until literally one minute after the issue becomes a "violation" to say something. These are premeditated selfish actions that serve no other purpose than to attack someone and/or stir up drama unnecessarily.

My only intent is to progressively make this league better. Obviously you weren't going to lose Hughes and it was to escalate a point that there is a rule in place but there is no consequence listed if the rule is broken. I'm looking for improvement here. I don't even need to defend my stance for giving people the "benefit of the doubt" because I know single handedly I've helped out GMs from losing players more than any other GM and they know who they are. I've coached teams through understanding the rules deeper. If you don't want help with pointing out areas of opportunity in the league and trying to catch certain things one man might not always catch...then by all means go ahead and do it all yourself. There was zero malicious intent behind that post. One more thing I wanted to note, there needs to be consistency with changing prospects Waiver dates when being sent to the farm. Numerous times GMs have sent players to there farm and the Waiver date has not been changed. Either you, the Commissioner, are committed to changing the Waiver dates 100% of the time when being sent down to the farm. Or said prospect player has to wait until the Waiver date period is up. Level playing field for all.

Yet again, in this day and age, we have an individual who makes excuses for poor behavior. It's sad. What you're suggesting happened did not happen. You're a liar. Daniel - Canucks actually did give you the benefit of the doubt. He thought you'd make the transaction correctly. When he saw you did not he notified you like a gent. What did you do? It wasn't an issue until it became an issue. Help is given when it needs to be given...and lately? A lot of help is needed. Get better.

Level playing field for all. I have changed the waiver date of each prospect EVERY single time someone has asked me to do so. This is fact. I’m obviously not going to send a message to myself asking myself to change the waiver date of a player I own. If I know I am going to recall the player before the waiver period is up I will change it, if I know that I am not, I won’t. It is as simple as that. Same for every other person in the league. Once again, you are looking to place blame and drum up some sort of conspiracy theory instead of approaching a topic from a productive stand point. When you get called out on it you want to get defensive and act like you’re the one who has been wronged. Unbelievable, this ‘outage culture’ we live in.

You can go ahead and automatically assume I want all my prospect's Waiver Dates changed the same day. If you wish for me to send you a message every time I will gladly comply. I almost guarantee I speak the same language for every other GM as well. Also, answer what the consequences of breaking rule 11D would imply or take it out of the rulebook. Simple things we're talking about here.

What you're suggesting happened did not happen. You're a liar. Uhh...yes it did? I’m not “suggesting” anything. I’m telling you exactly what happened. Anybody who attempted to log on to the site at 4:36 PM EST would also know that is was temporarily down and subsequently “reset” with the only observable change at the time being that it showed “0 active users in the past 24 hours.” Pretty serious allegations you’re throwing around for someone who is generally clueless and doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about.

I almost guarantee I speak the same language for every other GM as well. Yes. That’s what I want you to do. And no. You don’t speak the same language for every GM because history has shown that most GM’s don’t drop a player with the intent of picking him back up in two days, or three days, or even a week, prospect or not. The instances in which managers want to drop a player to immediately pick them back up are the outliers and definitely not the norm. Hence why the default position is to not change the waiver dates unless asked because it usually doesn’t matter.

I was online at 4:36 PM EST yesterday and I did witness the site being down for a brief moment. I was also refreshing the forum all day yesterday constantly and didn't see any Hughes post as I was indeed looking for it. Not just looking for it because it was the Ottawa Senators, but looking for it because I like to ensure ALL GMs are abiding by the rules. Not calling you out saying this didn't happen, but coming from my observations no post was made. I have also not witnessed any other PM or messages being "missing", has anyone else? Again, no hostility in this post.

Sure buddy. This has never happened before in the history of the league. Now we have to wonder about forum 'downtime' being an excuse for poor managing? Even if it were true that doesn't excuse you from not noticing what had happened in a timely manner and making the necessary corrections. Even if it did get by you that's no excuse to attack the guy notifying you of the transgression and only shows your automatic disdain for your superiors. You should be apologetic and appreciative in this instance, if you were a man, alright?

Also, there is a chance this has happened in the past and we just didn't notice it. Yesterday it was more visible because there was increased activity due to it being the NHL trade deadline. On some random day it is plausible that zero, one, or two people were "active in the past 24 hours."
