What is this? Politics? The whole "losing on purpose" comment is one scenario. It could happen, but the decision to change the rule isn't hinged on it. Again, we were trying to figure out a way for the league to be fun and competitive the whole way through. The last place team still gets the top picks in the league, so what the fuck is the problem with it?
I also say "we" referring to Derrick and I because we talk on a daily basis and this came up, that's all. There is no committee, you're just being flagrant now. Once again, there is no real reason to be against this idea entirely, it's for the good of the league and would make it more competitive. That's a fact.
Anyway, I don't care if it's implemented, it was an idea and bummies seems to like arguing a phantom point.

Ok. I will disregard the losing on purpose and concentrate only on your making it more competitive.
What are you gonna do with the 5th & 6th, and 3rd & 4th place mathups to make them more "competitive? When you get right down to it, there is only a pair of teams that realy contends for the title. The other 4 teams in the "championship" brackett basically form another losers brackett for 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th places.
Secondly, you're acting like I'm gettin all worked up on who gets the first waiver pick. That is only half of the issue. As we speak, a poll is running for a serpentine draft vs. a "straight" draft. That is the real argument I'm making. A snake draft is a terrible idea and im going to be on here everyday making my point and responding to posts until the league members read them and THEN vote accordingly. I refuse to just sit by and watch people just come into the league, not read anything or even participate in the discussion, then vote.
These discussions are important to ALL OF US. This is YOUR league. Help keep it alive and healthy by taking part in these kinds of discussion and voicing your opinion.

Derrick and I talked the other day about the draft and keeper rules. So, in the spirit of compromise, I propose straight drafts for the prospect and waiver drafts, but instead of 10 keepers there will be 12. Post responses and opinions on this arrangment.
