All-Time Head to Head Record
2006: 166-48-42 / 133-104-39

All-Time Vs. Opponent
2006: 5-3, 8-4
2007: 4-8, 10-2
2008: 9-2, 9-3
Ottawa Senators 5-1
Prediction
As expected, the Columbus Blue Jackets knocked off top-seeded San Jose for the second year in a row to advance to the NAFHL championship. Alternatively, the Ottawa Senators survived a semi-final scare from Cinderella hopeful, Vancouver Canucks to advance to the NAFHL championship matchup. As with most weeks, this battle of the heavyweights will be decided by goaltending. With nearly double the goalie games, Ottawa will take wins handedly, but the Columbus tandem of Miller and Backstrom should keep SV% and GAA in check as the Blue Jackets try and find some way to stifle the high-powered offense of the Ottawa Senators. If a 5-1 all-time record indicates anything about the outcome of this matchup, we should see lots of offense from Ottawa, countered by great goaltending by Columbus in a heated duel that sees Ottawa the victor. Columbus is playing in its second NAFHL championship in as many years, whereas this is Ottawa first appearance.
