Fellow brethern of the NAFHL I am proud to introduce to you the new Toronto Maple Leafs assistant GM, Jimbo.
In order to assist the Toronto Maple Leafs in league activity, Jimbo will negotiate trades, set lines, as well as perform other league activities on Andrew's and the Toronto Maple Leafs behalf. However, Andrew will have the final say so in any operation and trade. Any vote, trade, or other league activity must be confirmed by the Toronto Maple Leafs user account, this is non negotiable. Other limitations of the Assistant GM position include the exclusion of voting privileges in any NAFHL poll, inability to execute trades. Draft Pick selections will be allowed so long as confirmation from the front office is provided prior to making the selection(s).
This is an idea that should be encouraged, and if all goes as planned, promotes more activity and provides the league as a whole with a pool of "homegrown" managers, albeit restricted, with potentials to take over GM jobs, should our current ones quit.
