GM Resignation

Due to what I feel is lack of enthusiasm by some managers and the recent brigade of missed picks in the draft, im taking yet more of my time to create this thread to address the issue. Let me know who is with me and who isnt...

There simply isnt enough involvement on behalf of some, so im going to be blunt. If you do not wish to participate in this league put in your 2 weeks now, make a post and say so and ill have you replaced, this goes for everyone. I feel like its a direct slap in the face especially since i put forth the extra effort to save the league and not lose what we have already accomplished. I expect all GM's to be active (more than one visit per week ) show enthusiasm, not miss picks, and to do their part as a dedicated GM to make this league the best it possibly can be. If this isnt you, and you dont think you can meet these simple requirements, as i said, resign now before anymore of my, or your dedicated fellow league mates time is wasted. If you choose not to respond or show improvement in dedication, i will replace you personally without negotiation. This league will succeed, that I promise you. G'day boys.

I agree with everything you said, and I'm here for the long haul, I'll also help you to look for replacements if need be, just let me know.

Ok this is for all you new people. I havent been a part of this league for an extended period of time. I have been, however, friends and leaguemates with Derrick for many many years. Derrick isnt joking. This thread wasnt started in the "forum games" section. Ive watched this league from near its inception, through the farce that was steve, and now near its starting point. I can now say i have put forth effort in dealing with a team i didnt draft, researching and selecting farm picks, getting to know league managers, and conducting trade negotiations. Ill be damned if thats all for not. I, for two, am tired of delayed farm picks, forum inactivity, and the general disregard for the league. This is a KEEPER LEAGUE; not some ninny league from yahoo. You want membership, the price is activity and time. If you dont.....get the fuck.....out. Now, for all of you still reading this, lets make this league what it should be.

Yes, I agree with what Derrick is saying, but this is the middle to the end for most people's summers. Board activity also has a domino effect since more threads and activity brings more people to come and post. Perhaps we can think of some threads/ideas to do to promote some more activity.
