#27 - Scott Niedermayer210 Games Played - 132 PointsColumbus Blue Jacket Captain, Scott Niedermayer has decided to retire. He leaves behind a career that spanned 2 and 1/2 years of service for the Columbus Blue Jacket organization, totaling 132 points in 210 games played. The hall of fame blue-liner spent the 2006/2007 season with the Atlanta Thrashers and the 2007/2008 season with the Ottawa Senators before being dealt, and finally finding a home in Columbus. Niedermayer retires with a host of Columbus all-time records for defense men. Among them are: all-time points leader, most goals as a defenseman, and most power play points. As a way of saying "Thank You" for 2 and a 1/2 great seasons (and the thought of one that could have been next season), the Columbus Blue Jackets will induct Defenseman Scott Niedermayer into its Hall of Fame.

The San Jose Sharks would like to congratulate Scott Niedermayer on a historic career, Columbus had a hell of a player contributing right to the end and he should go down as a legend for their franchise, I applaud the foresight to create a 'Hall of Fame' to honor such players. We wish Scott all the best in the future and hope to see him back in hockey in some other fashion down the road.

Just pretend this is named New Jersey Devils and not Columbus.
The Devils would like to congratulate Patrice Bergeron on a illustrious and successful career in the NAFHL.
Even though I generally found myself rooting against Boston for all these years its hard to deny the talent and caliber of a grown ass man like Patrice Bergeron.
A sure fire first ballot hall of famer he will be remembered most for that time he was an asshole and wasted one of my keeper spots. Please remove him from my team immediately!

One of my favourite players of all time. I have worn #37 for at least a decade. What a legend.
