This subject has been one that is long standing, and up until this point, my position has been clear on the subject: teams can not relocate. This has been a concern, especially when a new GM is brought in and doesn't like the team name.
However, I am now opening up discussion for the possibility of team relocations, as a venue of keeping the league fresh, fun, and exciting. There are several concerns with this, some on an administration level, and others on technical level, but I am willing to move forward with this.
Should this become a reality, it will be a one time thing (until the next decision like this is made) so choose wisely. I have still yet to determine how a "tie" will be settled, in case two GM's decide they want to move to the same city ie, Washington.
Discuss away.
Requested Relocations:
Atlanta Thrashers - Will Not Relocate Boston Bruins - Will Not Relocate Buffalo Sabres - Anaheim Ducks Calgary Flames - Will Not Relocate Columbus Blue Jackets - New York Islanders Montreal Canadiens - Colorado Avalanche Ottawa Senators - Will Not Relocate Pittsburgh Penguins - Detroit Red Wings San Jose Sharks - Will Not Relocate Toronto Maple Leafs - Will Not Relocate Vancouver Canucks - Minnesota Wild Winnipeg Jets - Washington Capitals

as requested in the past I would like to Relocate to Denver as the Colorado Avalanche, they always have been my favourite team and were unfortunately taken when I signed up.

We will now be accepting potential team relocation submissions. Please indicate the city in which you would like to move and at least one alternate via this thread or PM. If you wish to remain in your current city, simply state that your team will not relocate. Thanks.

I would like to re-locate to Toronto if I can.
If Toronto is not possible (as in, if Toronto does not want to change) I would like to move to Anaheim.

I'd be interested in relocating to Washington, if that is not possible I'd be interested in a move to Minnesota.

To start a new chapter in its storied history, the Columbus Blue Jackets will move its franchise south to Tampa Bay. Rumor has it, potential suitors for the vacant GM position are enamored with the warm climate.

Despite previous rumors of the Columbus Blue Jacket franchise moving south to Tampa, the apparent deal that was in place with the previous investors has fallen through. A dedicated team of individuals has put together another bid and now it looks as though the Blue Jacket team will instead head north to Long Island, New York.
This leaves the NAFHL conferences looking like this:
EAST Atlanta Thrashers Boston Bruins Toronto Maple Leafs Washington Capitals New York Islanders Ottawa Senators
WEST Colorado Avalanche Detroit Red Wings San Jose Sharks Anaheim Ducks Calgary Flames Minnesota Wild
