All the trades and transactions from yesterday's madness have been updated. Please double check to make sure that all the updates are accurate. Also, drop any player from your Yahoo roster that was traded and cancel any waiver claims that might be in for these players so that I can make them free agents and available to be picked up without burning your waiver priority.

Just checking if Cammallari should be able to be a starter for me tonight?? It's only one more GP for me this week. Is anyone else missing starts tonight from trade acquisitions?? Not a big deal if he can't play just curious.

Need one clarification about this: can you still send down the prospects that you'll be using in your main lineup to the farm team after the playoffs are done and can you drop players from your farm to make room for those prospects even after the playoffs? Has worked like this in previous years afaik.

Also, it seems obvious, but players who are already on the IR (Letang), can I drop a player to activate him should he return?

All Summer draft threads have been posted. Trading, calling up/sending down of players may now resume.
Additional guidelines per the rulebook:
A) No free agent signing is allowed before June 1. B) Prior to the conclusion of the current year’s Prospect Draft, no player may be signed to one's main roster or called up from one’s farm team who does not currently have NHL experience. C) Open prospect signing (not from the current year’s draft class) will resume on a date to be announced after the conclusion of the current years Prospect Draft. D) Open prospect signing (current draft year included) will resume on a date to be announced after the conclusion of the current years Entry Draft. E) No remaining Free Agent may be signed until the Prospect Draft, Entry Draft, and Waiver Draft have concluded and a Free Agent signing date has been established.

This year I am asking that each individual GM submit his updated farm roster, complete with age (as of June 1st) and NHL games played to the newly created Farm Team Submission thread. Thanks for your cooperation.

Any response to the concerns Markus and I had with the Prospect Draft? I'm of the opinion that nothing should be randomized. I also didn't receive an email with the results. I think we should clear this up before the draft date. Does anybody else have any suggestions or concerns with this aspect of the off-season?

Any completely randomized draft needs to be a snake draft at the very least. That's how the prospect draft has been the past two seasons and I don't really see a reason why it should be any different this time around. Any lottery should also be held via a site where the results can be verified if needed from a result email. Both things are important for the integrity of the league in my opinion.

I have said before as well this Prospect Draft should be end of season waiver priority. If you do it that way it doesn't have to be a snake draft and GM's will decide more carefully on late season waiver options.

The Prospect Draft has been changed to a serpentine draft, and the rule detailing it has been modified in the rulebook. Every GM in the league was emailed a "result" email that can be verified by clicking the link in said email. If it is not in your inbox, check your junk mail because these things often get lost there.
As for the draft being random, I am not opposed to changing how the order generated. Past season waiver priority makes the most sense, and places an emphasis on an aspect of the game that is currently undervalued. But I am open to hearing other suggestions. I want to stray away from duplicating the way drafts are decided ie, reverse order of the final regular season standings, etc.
Whatever the case, the draft will begin shortly after each GM has submitted his updated Farm Roster in the Farm Roster Submission thread.

Thanks to all of you who submitted your farm team updates.

All rosters have been updated post-Waiver Draft. Please check to make sure your team is accurate. Good job to everyone for keeping your team rosters up to date without any violations.
There are no waivers during the off-season. Open free agent signing will (tentatively) begin on September 1st, 2014 at 12:00 AM (Midnight) EST pending Yahoo league registration.

Fantasy Hockey on Yahoo! is open I believe. Does the 'off-season' include every day leading up to the first puck drop?
