You were handed a team that has never believed in owning Dmen, and that is an issue that you don't fix overnight. Although you didn't do yourself any favors by prematurely dropping Timonen. I figured this thread was a good opportunity to start some mid-week "trash talking," but you aren't playing along. Anyway, I think its fairly obvious that the main problem here is that your two top superstars (Malkin/Kovalchuk who account for 20% of your offense) are struggling, as is your #1 goalie. But look on the bright side, Mason is still young, you've restocked the prospect pool (primary focus on Dmen), you found a gift wrapped Justin Williams in free agents, AND you are coming off back-to-back Consolation Bracket titles. The first year in the league saw the Buffalo/Anaheim franchise finish in 11th place. Only place you can go is up. The good news is, you are going head to head with me this week, so you should post season bests in every category. |
