Im just not a fan of seeing moves like this be made. This just is so horribly one sided its not even funny. Should speak for itself but as it stands its
Boston recieves: 1st round prospect pick (Ana)
Calgary recieves: Ribeiro, Hartnell, Jokinen, and Wisniewski
Thats Ribeiro 40 pts Hartnell 39 pts Jokinen 43 pts Wisniewski 39 pts (dman)
Thats 161 points for a 1st round prospect pick not to include other intangables and what not that each player provides. This in my opinion is probably one of the most lop sided trades we've had.

They are all rentals. I'll use them for 8 weeks and lose them. Boston got the 1st overall pick in next years draft, that's a really nice piece to have.

They are all rentals... Boston got the 1st overall pick in next years draft I think that summarizes the deal nicely. If anything, I believe this deal is lopsided towards me. Robyn will lose those guys at the end of the season and my prospect will have the chance to be a great player in the future. I advertised in my trade block that I'm "blowing up my team" and Calgary responded. I can see why someone would look at this move with surprise, but this trade is pretty similar in theme to the rest of my deals this past week.

I don't have too much issue with this deal and like Mark said, I'd even give the edge to him and not Robyn. Rentals for the first overall prospect pick? If anything it should be vetoed the other way.

I didn't realize this was that close of a decision. No, it shouldn't be vetoed, reasoning being the Bruins have packed it up for the year and are looking ahead, so trading a bunch of non-keepers, used as depth players for a contender, for the 1st overall prospect pick is a solid move by Mark. It's also a solid move by Robyn looking to go for it all this year in hopes of a championship.
No to veto.
