personally, I always liked Z more... but that's just my opinion. I think we all just need to take a deep breath from the whole veto issues going on this past week or so.

Either way, Carolina wins this hands down. If Carter were to retain his RW status I'd somewhat agree with that, but I'm 99.9% sure he won't see a single shift as RW in CBJ. Yahoo won't be kind enough to reward him with dual eligibility next season. I see them as a somewhat similar players with Carter having the edge on age and Zetterberg with the points totals. Normally in this scenario the C/LW status brings significant value increase compared to plain C. There's 0 chance I would have done Zetts for Carter straight up. Zetterberg was actually ranked as the 3. most valuable LW in the entire league last season with the scoring categories that we have. I'm pretty certain that Carter won't be a top3 C option at any point of his career going forward. In any case, I'd like to keep the thread free of controversy for once, the deal was struck in a very smooth and amicable fashion and I'm quite sure both GM's are happy with what they got.

I like it good move by both parties Zetterberg brings more intangibles as well.
