That's more of a legit criticism than your previous desperate attempts. I face palm a lot with Luongo, hideous play to start the year, sick of these slow starts. Enough is enough, get it together. Good thing Quick is such a stud holding the fort down.

Sounding desperate again Derr. Pekka Rinne chased after 20 minutes, 4 goals allowed, .750 SV%.
Luongo wins, 1 GAA, .962 SV% Quick gets his second shutout in as many games. Purcell records 2 assists and now has 6 points in 6 games.
I think the hockey Gods are telling you something.

That without the aforementioned you would be losing to Minnesota 2-9-1 instead of barely eeking by at 6-5-1?

That's why I have elite goaltenders, to win categories needed to win weeks and points. They are part of my team. By the same logic if it weren't for your offense you'd be losing every category this week except shutouts which is tied for you fortunately. Also, he's ahead by what? 1 goal, 2 assists, 1 SHP, 5 PIM? The week isn't over yet bud-dy.

01. Purcell doesn't even occupy a San Jose Sharks roster spot yet. 02. Purcell just scored a goal last night. 03. Purcell has 4 points in 5 games 'playing badly'. 04. Joe Thornton has 1 assist in 4 games. Nov 19 10:45pm San Jose Sharks Nos Teddy Purcell (TB - RW) Drop San Jose Sharks Waivers Heh

Is that funny? Or amusing? Purcell was playing badly, getting few minutes, but still putting up decent numbers. I never denied this. Just because my team is so beast I can't fit him on my roster is cause for scorn? Somebody named Sidney Crosby is going to lace them up tomorrow for my club. Purcell would be a great fit on many clubs in this league and he will be picked up.
Guess what Derrick? Your team is playing at its fullest capacity, no injuries whatsoever to deal with, your team is as good as it's going to get. Good enough? You tell me...

This shows just how out of touch you are with things. Arguably my 4 best players who are perennially point-per-game players (Ovechkin, Perry, St. Louis, and Datsyuk) are scoring at well under a point-per-game clip. Hiller, one of my two starting goalies has nearly a 3.00 GAA and .900 SV%. If this is your idea of "fullest capacity" then you are delusional.

Well, this is how I see it... Niklas Backstrom is about as worthless a goaltending option as you can get. Who's in a worse position than him? If he isn't in the worst position then he's in the bottom 3. sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/3919Jon Quick and Roberto Luongo apparently. Heh. Oh, and about 25 other starting goalies around the league.

How are they in a worse position? You don't...quite...get it...do you? Take a look at Minnesota's team and defense, then compare that to Vancouver's and LA's. Backstrom's doing well to start the season, kudos, but we're not even 1/4th of the way in. Remember when you were singing the praises of Ondrej Pavelec? What happened by the end of the season? He shit the bed and you traded him away for Backstrom, the only difference being you didn't have to pimp Backstrom to the league for a couple of years to form the illusion of value like you did with Pavelec, somebody was instantly dooped. Oh, I just picked this guy up for free, leads all goalie stats, currently the BEST IN THE WORLD! Brian Elliott: 9 Wins, .951 SV%, 1.34 GAA, 3 SO Oh and this guy, recording his second shutout in as many games: Cory Schneider: 5 Wins, .927 SV%, 2.02 GAA, 2 SO You know what the best thing about these guys is? They aren't turning 34 in a couple months. I am going to go with: 1A. San Jose* 1B. Ottawa *IF Crosby plays, if not 1B Looks like you're the B squad friend, enjoy.

Your previous post, in its entirety, might be the funniest, most ridiuclous post you have ever made. And that is really saying something. How are they in a worse position? You don't...quite...get it...do you? Take a look at Minnesota's team and defense, then compare that to Vancouver's and LA's. Backstrom's doing well to start the season, kudos, but we're not even 1/4th of the way in. I don't care what your OPINION is. Minnesota leads the Western Conference (and before last night the NHL) in points, while Los Angeles and Vancouver are fighting just to get into the playoffs. I said it before the season and I will say it again, Yeo possesses the system and skills to turn Minnesota around and make them a contender. Actually, I did.

Your previous post, in its entirety, might be the funniest, most ridiuclous post you have ever made. And that is really saying something. What's ridiculous is you misspelling 'ridiculous'. Also, ridiculous or genius? I don't care what your OPINION is. Minnesota leads the Western Conference (and before last night the NHL) in points, while Los Angeles and Vancouver are fighting just to get into the playoffs. I said it before the season and I will say it again, Yeo possesses the system and skills to turn Minnesota around and make them a contender. Really? That's my opinion? Really? Minnesota leads the West? Really? Yeo possesses the system? Really? Really? Really? Since you like to time travel let's take another look back... Hiller (.919%) is on a 5 game win streak, and the "mediocre" Ducks (2nd place in the Western Conference) have won 6 straight. Ondrej Pavelec: 2.34 GAA, .931 SV% Roberto Luongo: 2.63 GAA, .914 SV% To which I responded with: They're on a tear of late but that doesn't mean they aren't a mediocre club. The season is young and I don't expect them to be anywhere near the top of the West. You seem to be a hot streak kind of guy. Elegant, concise, correct. The Anaheim Ducks squeaked into the playoffs by 4 points and lost in the first round to the Nashville Predators. Mediocre? Yeah. Also, that Luongo/Pavelec hilarity, let's take a look at their full season numbers... Luongo: 38 Wins, .928 SV%, 2.11 GAA, 6 SO Pavelec: 21 Wins, .914 SV%, 2.73 GAA, 4 SO Luongo went to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, won the Jennings and was a Vezina finalist. Pavelec? What did he do? Oh yeah, nothing. Luongo is actually 32 bra, it's okay you've made a lot of mistakes, I'll let this one slide. Besides, he's LUONGOD for a reason. Did I have Crosby during that week? No? You like ignoring don't you? Or do you have trouble understanding? Still killed you offensively, it came down to some dumb luck on your part to squeak that one out. 4 SHP FTLOL This is what you said: I am going to go with: 1A. San Jose* 1B. Ottawa *IF Crosby plays, if not 1B Crosby is now playing so... Looks like you're the B squad friend, enjoy. Hope you can understand it this time.

Besides, he's LUONGOD for a reason. I guess one of the perks of being a god is dressing as your team's backup goaltender for 4 straight games (and counting) even when healthy.

I guess one of the perks of being a god is dressing as your team's backup goaltender for 4 straight games (and counting) even when healthy. Nah, it's more like one of the perks of having such a studly blue chip prospect goalie that can put up elite #1 goaltender numbers that Luongo and the Canucks can afford to rest him a little longer to be sure he's over that injury. Besides, Schneider has been playing great, he deserves it. What a luxury that I have both huh?? Brian Elliott adds to his mystique and continues to be THE BEST IN THE WORLD. Niklas Backstrom allows 3 goals in less than 10 minutes, is yanked, .625 SV% all against the powerhouse Calgary Flames. By the way, I love how you now refer to Brodeur as 'aging', I'll take full credit for that beauty, shook you up...wow.
