That list of yours is a joke give me a few hours I'll show you my drafting as for my signings I dont sign many players mid season because I have no room on my loaded farm/development roster but when I do its a decent signing. tbc.... What's a joke? The fact that I have so many beasts on there? Your 'loaded' farm roster has 11 empty spots. Sean Couturier Jamie Oleksiak Tyler Seguin Beau Bennett Mark Visentin Charlie Coyle Tyler Toffoli Scott Glennie Chris Kreider Mikko Koskinen Ryan O'Reilly Alex Pietrangelo Cody Hodgson Greg Nemisz Jordan Eberle Tyler Ennis Tyler Myers Dmitri Kugryshev Jake Allen Brandon Sutter Nicholas Petrecki Max Pacioretty Patrick White Keaton Ellerby Erik Johnson Travis Zajac Enver Lisin Now you tell me whose drafting has been better. Mine has been better, by far. You're the worst team in the league and you've been toiling at the bottom of the league for years now, I'm the BEST IN THE WORLD. Your picks should be better, you have higher picks, but they aren't. Every player of worth on that list you traded away and lost too, which makes you a bigger joke. Sean Couturier Tyler Seguin Ryan O'Reilly Alex Pietrangelo Cody Hodgson Jordan Eberle Jake Allen Erik Johnson Travis Zajac All not on your roster. ;D ;D Obviously you still don't get it. I don't seriously know how much more clear this can be. The reason why that 3rd rounder of yours is virtually worthless is that there are likely only 2 players drafted before the Toronto owner could have signed any of the remaining players for no cost. If you actually win the league it's one player that gets drafted before Toronto would have been free to choose anyone of his liking anyway had this trade not taken place. Now before you answer with more bullshit at least try to read and understand what I just wrote and maybe try coming up with an actual argument. No, you don't get it. Every pick counts, it could be the difference between a star and mediocrity, the difference between somebody else signing him and you signing him, the difference between fighting in a prospect FA frenzy unsure of what you'll be able to snag, maybe if you paid more attention to the little things you wouldn't be fighting for your playoff life.

Or maybe it's the fact that you've been making these horribly lopsided trades for what, 5 years now? Your stupidity is only exceeded by your arrogance.

Scott offered the trade to me, what don't you get? You're a moron, you calling me stupid is classic. Your stupidity is only exceeded by your ignorance.

Next I assume you're gonna argue that Peter Holland is the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ and the prospect to end all prospects which is complete bullshit as you're well aware. He's perhaps the 4. best prospect in the Anaheim ranks after Palmieri, Etem and Schultz. A nice prospect to have in a 29 player deep farm system sure, but not nearly enough to be the main source of value in this kind of a deal. I can not believe you forgot all-world defender Sami Vatanen and future Vezina winner Iiro Tarkki from the list of Anaheim prospects who are without a doubt better than Peter Holland. The rest of the thread is a foot note to this fact.

Bad trade, I get it guys. Toronto is obviously rebuilding, shit happens. I think Holland will produce pretty well when he makes the big team, but hey thats just me. I could careless about Radim, he fell into my lap probably a month into the season after no one picked him up, he caught fire alongside his team and that just doesnt convince me based on this season that he will be a long term solution. Heck, maybe ill even draft him next year as a waiver because it seems quite dumb for him to be a Keeper on a squad like San Jose, might as well get something out of it if no one else is offering.

Don't let these 'experts' discourage you, you got some great pieces going forward and Vrbata will absolutely not be a keeper option for me. Hartnell isn't even a keeper option for me at this point in time. Vrbata will be put back into the waiver draft, a waiver draft that Vrbata wasn't even picked in this year. I'm sure he'll be available in the 3rd, 4th or 5th round or a comparable.

I don't mind this trade Sammy. You take whatever pieces are offered for a rental player.
