I didn't realize how much passion I had for the game, how it affects my mood and manner, how it influences and dictates my overall being, my work, my entertainment...until this moment, this moment, it makes me really soak it all in, it's a dream. I think back to when I was a youngster on the ice, first skate lacing, first practice, first game, first goal/s ( ), To my first Canucks game with my Dad vs. the Blackhawks. I love this game, I love everything about it. So after all my gushing, which games drive you tomorrow, January 19, 2013, which games will you watch? I'm definitely gonna check out the Penguins vs. Flyers at Noon and keep an eye on Quick vs. Chicago. Then I'll probably watch the Bruins vs. Rangers game and of course the late game, 'Nucks vs. Ducks. That's right, all day. ;D /excitement #GoHockey ...oh and of course I'll be stat watching.

Penguins vs. Flyers is going to be an absolute dog fight of a brawl. At least 100 penalty minutes dished out. Everybody start your Penguins and Flyers.
To ACTUALLY have hockey back almost seems surreal.

Go Leafs Go. That's what I am most interested in. Penguins Flyers will be the game of the day. Hate the Sens and have Pavelec so ill be cheering hard for Jets as well. Good luck to everyone this fantasy season.
Thinking of buying Gamecenter Live does anyone have it or some helpful feedback???

The Pens vs. Flyers game isn't showing here, not on NBC, CBC or Center Ice so I'm forced to watch the LA shitshow. What a terrible celebration they had beforehand, raising the Cup throughout the entire team? Really?

Pretty fun so far, horrible for my fantasy team but love having hockey back. They switched feeds to the Pens vs. Flyers game for the third period and shut off the LA vs. Chicago game entirely from broadcast. Must have been a lot of angry fans (both ways), they should have kept both feeds but I guess the LA game was done and pretty boring after the first.

He's basically a big poor sport (getting railed 5-0 by a team without two thirds of its second line will do that to you) and pulled Keith Ballard's jersey up and started punching him. King of the cheap shot artists, a crier. ;D

Fri, Feb 1
Selanne snagged three assists in Friday's win over Minnesota, factoring into all three of the Ducks' goals.
Recommendation: Selanne had been quiet since his opening night four-point outburst, grabbing just an assist over the other four games. Friday's effort puts Teddy Flash over a point per game, with eight in six contests. Selanne could be the very definition of a binge scorer this season; hopefully, you'll have him in your lineup when he strikes. (Rotowire.com)
Derr, admit it, you write for Rotowire/Yahoo. That was too blatant, Teddy Flash? Haha, I've heard Flash, Finish Flash, but never Teddy Flash.

Brian Elliott is better than Devan Dubnyk? Adam Henrique is a product of Zach Parise? Sam Gagner is a flash in the pan cOiler? Love being proven right time and time again. My track record is immaculate. BEST IN THE WORLD!

My track record is immaculate. BEST IN THE WORLD! ...as you conveniently skip over the never-ending list of complete busts you have endorsed in times past. Furthermore, I can't believe you had the foresight to trade scraps for Crosby. Everyone besides you thought that 102 point rookie season was a fluke. Or how you managed to bundle a bunch of forwards you couldn't keep for a largely unknown guy in Stamkos (he couldn't possibly hit 90 for a 4th straight year right?). Your team is so good. You kept Dubnyk over Elliott simply for convenience. One could be kept on the farm, one could not. It also does not take a rocket scientist to see that a career backup in Elliott is and was a product of the Blues system. Unless of course you are a box-score scout. Henrique is, was, and always will be a product of the players around him, namely Kovalchuk. I don't think anybody is surprised that Gagner is scoring points. There is nothing impressive about drafting a guy who scored 50 points last season in the 6th round of the waiver draft. It's not like you took Viktor Fasth in the 8th or anything. Tomas Plekanec a grinder past his prime? Dennis Wideman overrated? can't play? Martin Hanzal a checking forward? Jamie McGinn a career AHL'er? ZOMG! An NHL team should hire me immediately! I am the greatest drafter in the worlddddddddddd!!!!!!!!11one1!

Took the bait? This'll be fun... ;D ...as you conveniently skip over the never-ending list of complete busts you have endorsed in times past. Like who? Teddy Purcell? Wait... Scraps? You mean traded one of the best players in NHL history who's still putting up elite numbers today? At the time he was the best player in the world. A bunch of forwards I couldn't keep? I did keep them (Kesler & Backes with slots, Skinner & Couture on the farm). I don't think Scott's complaining about the impressive production those guys are giving his team. You give to get, bottom line. I employ several tactics to improve upon my team, from drafting, to FA scouting, to making necessary trades dependent on where each team is within the league. You're the one who's ripped off several managers in an 'attempt' to improve upon your drowning team. You know which trades those are so I won't bring them up. You kept Dubnyk over Elliott simply for convenience. One could be kept on the farm, one could not. It also does not take a rocket scientist to see that a career backup in Elliott is and was a product of the Blues system. Unless of course you are a box-score scout. No, I kept Dubnyk over Elliott because any idiot can see he's vastly superior. Had he not been on my farm I would have used a keeper slot on him last season, that's how much I like him. You're the one who said Elliott was better back when we were having our < > = spat. What happened there? Henrique is, was, and always will be a product of the players around him, namely Kovalchuk. Funny stuff, talk about box score watching right? Henrique isn't even on a line with Kovalchuk. Protip: His linemates are Elias and Clarkson. I don't think anybody is surprised that Gagner is scoring points. There is nothing impressive about drafting a guy who scored 50 points last season in the 6th round of the waiver draft. It's not like you took Viktor Fasth in the 8th or anything. What is impressive is drafting a player on an 89 point pace, a player who has scored a point in every single game except one this year, in the 6th Round. Viktor Fasth will need a walker by the time he's employed as a full time starter. Is it impressive to have drafted Damien Brunner in the 7th Round? I think so. Tomas Plekanec a grinder past his prime? Dennis Wideman overrated? can't play? Martin Hanzal a checking forward? Jamie McGinn a career AHL'er? I'm not sure what you're bragging about here? None of these players have done anything exceptional. ZOMG! An NHL team should hire me immediately! I am the greatest drafter in the worlddddddddddd!!!!!!!!11one1! ...nnnnnnnnnnnno. I am. BEST IN THE WORLD!

Funny stuff, talk about box score watching right? Henrique isn't even on a line with Kovalchuk. Protip: His linemates are Elias and Clarkson. If I were box score watching (like you), I would see that Henrique plays even-strength with Elias and Clarkson. However, 1/3 of his points have come on the power-play with Kovalchuk scoring the goal or having the assist. Furthermore, Henrique played almost EXCLUSIVELY with Parise and Kovalchuk for the entire 2011-2012 season, except on the PK (where he still played next to Parise). So (at the time of the previous writing) a player who scores 7p/8g, 10p/11g and 7p/9g (as a Dman) is "nothing exceptional," but a point per game player on your team (who is a product of the Oilers system) and a guy with 6p/7g somehow is? This is of course a rhetorical question and does not require a response. Although it would be hilarious to see how you would try and spin it. "Umm, whoever records the game logs made a mistake..." "A single point in 10 straight games is more valuable in fantasy than two 5 point games because..." Save it, pal. I think the above illustrates everything that needs to be illustrated. It is no secret that you are incredibly delusional when it comes to the value of your own players, but it is nice to have it in writing for everyone to see.

If I were box score watching (like you), I would see that Henrique plays even-strength with Elias and Clarkson. However, 1/3 of his points have come on the power-play with Kovalchuk scoring the goal or having the assist. I own a Center Ice subscription and you know I watch several hours of hockey a day. Here's another Protip: Kovalchuk has assisted on just one Henrique goal, it was on the PP, and it was a second assist. That's the only goal/point scored between the two. Meaning that's the only goal they share. How that equates to 1/3 of his points I don't know. Bad math on your part? Or maybe you just throwing out hunches and guesses, which is how I've noticed you operate. a point per game player on your team (who is a product of the Oilers system). Product of the Oilers system huh? Comical. Oh, he's more than a point per game player 'as of this writing'. 13 points in 12 games, just one game without a point, that is exceptional. Not 7 points in 10 games or 6 points in 11 games, those are fine totals but not exceptional. This is of course a rhetorical question and does not require a response. You got one. Although it would be hilarious to see how you would try and spin it. With truths... "A single point in 10 straight games is more valuable in fantasy than two 5 point games because..." Save it, pal. You got it, pull it up! Consistency is a wonderful thing. I think the above illustrates everything that needs to be illustrated. It is no secret that you are incredibly delusional when it comes to the value of your own players, but it is nice to have it in writing for everyone to see. Delusion? Facts and truths must appear that way to you.

Comical goaltending, why don't I learn? Even funnier 'USA' chant by the nit wits at Joe Louis. This Brunner kid, he's killing me here, that trade hasn't paid dividends that's for sure.
