I will agree to Galchenyuk going back to Boston. The 10 game rule needs to be in effect. Set a 1 week timeline after the 10th game is played in a week all GM should be on look over their roster and make necessary changes. 9 of us made changes to meet roster requirements. I think we have set some precedence in other transactions the player went back.

"while Mark is using the faulty wording/incompatibility of rules to his advantage, albeit in violation of one." I don't think anything needs to be said beyond that. This I think needs to be pointed out even more.

We all knew that last year when the ruling came down that it was how it was going to be he shouldn't get a free pass because the rule book wasn't updated. This is a joke

I wouldn't be opposed to a RFA system moving forward such as the one Nos suggested where any ineligible farm player that is signed by another team or released by the commissioner (either farm squad) can be reclaimed by sacrificing a pick.
That said, as the rules currently stand, regardless of the "value" of the player in question, Markus had the right to claim him. I noticed Gally on Mark's developmental squad about 3 weeks ago, examined the rules, and considered laying claim myself if he failed to make the required moves. Unfortunately it slipped my mind.
I got no second chances with Hertl over a stupid oversight on my part and I don't think the assumed "value" of a player should be a factor in these decisions. Should the rules be altered? Yes. Does this suck a lot for Mark? Absolutely. Should a rule amendment change past signings and transactions? No.

If I was one of the managers that hasn't voted.. there would already be another poll up for my removal... Were. Hadn't. Take a lap for bad grammar. If anything, you're going to be kicked out for taking a contending team that I built and running it into the ground...again. It can't come as any surprise to you that when you act like a dick, people act like a dick to you in return. Quit trolling threads and trying to start arguments over things that are long in the past. Besides, it not like the claims brought against you were erroneous. They were entirely true. You messed up. Deal with it. Quit your crying and move on.

If anything, you're going to be kicked out for taking a contending team that I built and running it into the ground...again. ^ Oh you mean that contending team that had NO goalie and no defense? No. I mean the contending team who finished 3rd in the standings last season, 4th in the playoffs, and had a team defense of Bieksa, Ehrhoff, Markov, Pitkanen, Streit. YOU chose not to draft any Dmen or goalies when you took over the team selecting the likes of Elliott, Versteeg, Roy, Okposo, Erat, and Laich before FINALLY selecting a Dman (Kyle Quincey) in Round 8, passing up the likes of Brodeur, Nabokov, Enstrom, Timonen, Kronwall, Del Zotto, Streit, Pitkanen, Souray, Ehrhoff, Visnovsky, Wideman, Carlson, Carle, Souray, Wisniewski, etc etc etc. Instead you decided you wanted to trade away two superstars in P. Kane and Marleau as well as your 1st Round Entry Pick and other spare parts in attempt to remedy a situation they could have been avoided/trade for players who could have been drafted by you for free in the Waiver Draft. Check your facts before you post. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

In Brad's defense, it was Hannu who screwed the pooch with keepers. He kept only 1 D, let go of Pavelec, & had bad luck w Thomas deciding to take a sabbatical this year.

I find it shocking, and yes disgusting, how many teams in this league take defense for granted. It's mind boggling. Every single successful NAFHL franchise and Champion in history has had elite defense. The top teams in this league are the teams with the best defense. Yet managers continue to overlook (ignore?) such a critical position.
Protip: ...
Well, if you don't know by now...

Check my facts before I post? YOU are attacking ME so I simply reminded you that this is my first season taking over a team that had no goalie and only Bieksa at D. <-- My facts are accurate. Whatever other issues you have with my management are your own and I would appreciate if you would keep them to yourself.
Now, it would be excellent if these other managers would vote on this poll so we can have a decision.

I am "attacking" you because you constantly troll various threads on the boards trying to start arguments with your completely unrelated comments in attempt to make everything about you. "Had I done this..." "If this were me..." "Why don't you start another poll about me." Your whiney comments have no place in this thread or any other thread that you take off-topic. Let's lay blame where it properly goes and quit trying to deflect it or project it on someone else because you have a complete inability to accept responsibility for any of your flaws/mistakes. MOVING ON... COLORADO TORONTO MINNESOTA (gets a pass because of the issues surrounding management but can still vote) The above teams need to vote on this issue. Taking a neutral stance is not an option. Also, Tyler -Jets, you need to clarify where your vote lies since there was some flip-flopping going on in your posts.
