2007-2008 Rosters have been updated and players status have all been corrected for the upcoming season. Make the necessary moves and make sure those keepers are in on time gentlemen.

The rule states that any skater under 150 games, and any goalie under 100 games remains a prospect. Lehtonen has played 110 thus qualifying him as a minor leaguer. i know there has some been some confusion on this before.
please do doublecheck your team(s) to make sure there arent any errors though. Updating player status is always a lot to undertake and it is easy to make a mistake sometimes.

lehtonen, niittymaki, and garon are not eligible to go to the farm before june 1.
*EDIT* Nathan Horton is in violation of farm team code. He no longer meets the requirements of a prospect or minor leaguer and needs to be moved immediately, failure to do so will result in losing him (unless kept).

He no longer meets the requirements of a prospect or minor leaguer and needs to be moved immediately, failure to do so will result in losing him (unless kept). according to the original rules (article 7, section C), "All players in the farm (as at the date of the end of the playoff) are automatically protected" and since he was a prospect last season (prospect status was to be updated each July 1st), I was allowed to keep him on the farm team. Thus, those rules say I can protect him for next season. Since you posted that the new rules apply June 1st and the keeper list is due before June 1st, I felt that we were following the rules I stated above, which would protect Horton since he was on the farm team. After June 1st, when the new rules are in effect, I will bring him up to my main roster since he no longer qualifies on my farm team. |
