Hey guys was looking at the old Colorado roster and saw that Filip Forsberg was on my roster but removed because the previous GM had basically given up on the team and stopped making any sort of roster changes. I am creating this poll because I believe that he should be added back to my roster as it was not my fault he went over the games played limit but strictly because the team realistically had no GM in place to correctly manage the roster. Other teams in the league have had prospects removed from their rosters since i've been in the league but those were on teams with active GM who for one reason or another forgot to make the roster change, so with this poll i hope to see what the other GM's thoughts are on this matter and to have this issue resolved one way or another. Thanks for your time,
MLef

When was Forsberg removed in relation to when Ryan was replaced as Colorado's GM?

Late October he was removed because another team tried signing him because he was over the games played, last Farm Transaction for the previous GM of Cllorado was in August. I took over at the beginning of at the Beginning of December.

No logins in a month and a half at the time Forsberg was removed... I'm inclined to say that the team should have been already under the control of the Commissioner or a new GM. I'm voting to have Forsberg reinstated to Colorado's roster.

Can't always go by last login Mark and Robyn both are showing that their last login was August 7th. I'd like to hear what der says about his activity before voting

His last farm transaction was Aug.12 so he clearly wasn't active in my mind

Aubreys last post in the redwings section was in July but the line up is always set so can't always go by forums. I've been on daily yet haven't made a farm transaction since October. Regardless the situation happened 2 months before the team was taken over by New ownership. This could set the presidence of changing past owner mistakes

Proboards is where all trade talks take place you have to come on here to check messages. I will vote Forsberg goes back to Colorado. The team was in shambles. He is a solid prospect the team needs.

Can't always go by last login Mark and Robyn both are showing that their last login was August 7th. I'd like to hear what der says about his activity before voting First, I will address the subsequent issues of this thread. Mark and Robyn both log in as "invisible," so only I can actually see when they are really online or not. This can cause a bit of confusion when trying to discern league activity. Additionally, while the Detroit roster has been faithfully set (minus a goal tending blunder), Aubrey's lack of activity both on the forum and in the league is unacceptable. A warning has been issued. As for Colorado, this is a tricky situation. I monitor log-ins both on Yahoo and on the forum closely and I know that Ryan was actively setting his lineup (at least logging in) on Yahoo at the time when the violation occurred. It is my suspicion that Ryan was already on the fence/losing interest in the league, and this is one of the instances, if not the single instance that pushed him over the edge. Shortly thereafter, he started neglecting his lineup and no longer logged on to Yahoo. I can see an argument for both sides, but I personally do not have a strong opinion on this issue either way. As always, I will honor whatever decision the leagues comes to.

If the previous owner was active at the time ill have to say that Forsberg should remain a FA because it was his mistake unfortunately under his regime

I truly believe that he was lost because of an inactive manager. He was never setting his roster nor did he ever participate in the thread. Not to mention the one post that was kicking him out of the league lol. It wouldn't be fair to mike if he didn't get him back.

I say yes. It's a given the old manager was inactive, so Mike shouldn't be punished for not being brought into the league sooner. I doubt that Mike would've let this issue happen had he been the gm at that time.
