Final Thoughts:
Although Calgary is the higher seed, these two teams are pretty evenly matched. Historically, the Calgary Flames have had a hard time handling the balanced offense of the Winnipeg Jets. Early season goaltending woes saw the Winnipeg Jets acquire Ryan Miller to help out in that department and he has shined. There is no margin for error. In order for Winnipeg to continue its brilliance against the Calgary Flames it will have to get the most out of each and every one of its roster players because the Calgary Flames have a star studded roster that is capable of putting up a huge number of points in any given week. Whoever secures the peripheral stats such as PIM, SHP, GWG, and SHO will win this matchup and advance to the next round.
