Final Thoughts:
In perhaps what is the greatest and most storied rivalry in NAFHL history, the Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks find themselves squaring off in a semi-final playoff matchup that should meet any and all expectations. While the Ottawa Senators have owned the last several matchups, the San Jose Sharks have become hot at just the right time. With a 9 week unbeaten streak, the San Jose Sharks need its veteran players to continue at an elite level if it hopes to stifle the gritty Senators and rookie sniper Gustav Nyquist. If Rask and Rinne put in solid performances, it will be very difficult to take down the defending NAFHL champion.
