I know there are certain roster restrictions in place around player movements. Please explain something to me though…. Why can we not take a player off IR and start them the same day??? There is no reason I shouldn’t be able to start Matt Murray tonight and release an extra forward I’ve been carrying. How are we possibly supposed to predict when a player is actually going to be activated from IR in real life to make this move before 3am?? How does changing the rule make the league more competitive? |

Woah! Good thing you couldn't play him huh?? 😅 Stupid Canucks! They need to lose them all! As far as competition I think Tyler just means he'd like to be able to play the players he's got on his roster if they're playing but it's a part of strategic roster management with the way our league is set up, I get the frustration though. I don't think same day moves should be implemented.

Turned out to work perfectly. Plus the Carolina game today had a player I would have dropped. Still believe we should be able to use our rostered players same day but I get it’s set this way and hard to change so many years into this league. All good just pay more attention take the risk when needed.

Just a friendly reminder for those teams who play in the first round of the playoffs tomorrow:
All players must be added/signed before the first puck drop of the first game of your fantasy hockey playoff week. Teams with byes will have to have their rosters set using the same criteria week 2 of the fantasy playoffs.

Congratulations to the San Jose franchise for stealing another NAFHL Championship. All they had to do was show up at the rink.
Congratulations to Bob - Kraken for winning the playoff pool and earning an extra keeper slot. Really impressive in his first season with the league.
Draft Pick Overview, Unavailable Players List, 2023 Entry Draft, 2023 Waiver Draft, and all 2023-2024 team roster pages have been posted and updated. Check to make sure there are not any errors or oversights.
2023 Entry Draft will begin at 12:00 PM EST on 7/15/23.
2023 Waiver Draft will begin at 12:00 PM EST on 8/15/23.
No Waivers during the summer. Waivers will resume at the drop of the first puck of the first regular season game.
No Free Agent signing is allowed. Free Agent signing will resume 2 days after the conclusion of the summer drafts.

Phenomenal job updating as usual Commish! Woah, this guy's giving himself a 48 hour window to plug the final rosters into the Yahoo system! FA signing record, I think you also set another robotic record with this update, roster pages and drafts going up every couple of minutes, I've gotta tell you...it's a beauuutiful thing to behold watching it occur live, which I did. 😆🤖😎

I glanced over the roster pages and there are a few minor corrections that I will list below.
Calgary Flames:
- Travis Konecny was a Keeper (as mentioned by Robyn).
Colorado Avalanche:
- Boone Jenner wasn't a Keeper.
- Joey Daccord is a Minor Leaguer.
- Moritz Seider is a Minor Leaguer.
Detroit Red Wings:
- Toledo Walleye should read "(4/10)" player count.
New Jersey Devils:
- Marc McLaughlin should have a capitalized "L".
Seattle Kraken:
- Dylan Cozens' age and games played should be removed (as he has played over 200 games).
- Trevor Zegras is a Minor Leaguer and should be spelt with an "O".
- Tyler Benson is a Minor Leaguer.
- Oliver Wahlstrom is a Minor Leaguer.
- Emil Bemstrom is a Minor Leaguer.
Toronto Maple Leafs:
- Mason McTavish should have a capitalized "T".

My apologies gentleman. Hit a bit of snag as I was travelling this weekend, and things did not go as expected. All is well now and things should get back to normal soon.
Waiver Draft picks are up to date and all rosters have been updated to this point to reflect the selections that have been made. Please check for any errors. We are currently in the process of potentially bringing in a new Seattle GM to assume control over the team and make the current selection. Shout out to Mitch - Ducks for facilitating this and his continued patience in the matter. Big thanks to everyone else for their understanding and patience in this as well as we navigate through these tough times.
