This is actually crazy ridiculous now. You guys know this is just a hobby and we do this for fun relax and try to enjoy being part of this league a little more. The rest of us don't need to see you two bickering all the time about who has better stats or is a better overall team. I get that we are all competitive but this is silly.

This is part of what makes it fun for me, the competitiveness, rivalry, trash talk, etc. I don't need you telling me to 'enjoy' myself more, I enjoy this league, fantasy hockey, and hockey itself a hell of a lot. It's a big part of my life. If you're so annoyed by it stop reading the thread.

Where do I start? This week was akin to being handcuffed to the ring, ref distracted by a manager and me being stomped by three men and calling it a fair fight. That's as good of a week as you'll ever have, a shortened week, 6 more skater starts than me, 4 short handed points on one day, +22 (more than quadrupling your yearly take which was at a whopping +5 before this week), etc. You want a perfect example of situational advantage there it is, Derrick wins his week 7-3 and I lose 7-5 but if we were paired up I would have slaughtered him for the 5th straight week 9-3. There's a silver lining to this though and here it is... 9. Winnipeg (-)Any chance Winnipeg had at making the playoffs went out the window with its acquisition of James Reimer in exchange for Jaromir Jagr and Logan Couture. Before the trade, Winnipeg was already in the bottom 6 of every single offensive category on the year and both Neimi and Brodeur are better options in net than Reimer. This week's numbers: Pekka Rinne: 1, 6.62, .789, 0 Jose Theodore: 0, 4.56, .833, 0 Jonas Hiller: N/A James Reimer: 2, 2.27, .940, 0 Looks like Reimer was good enough to beat Derrick's entire goaltending unit... this week. Alright, NHL's worst goalies for 1,000 please... Answer: Week 12: 0 4.11 .870 0
The above are not lottery numbers. But one would have a better chance of winning that, than a hockey game, with this guy in net.

What do I care how badly he plays now? He's not part of my team anymore.

Derrick do you write those player blurbs/updates on Yahoo? Because I swear to God even when a player of mine does something good there's a negative spin on it. Bunch of uninformed monkeys running that place. So I guess the hockey Gods have decided that my team is just too beast to be healthy, need to give other teams some semblance of a chance I guess. It's gotten to the point where I'm not going into the day watching for stats my players get, I'm watching for who will get injured next. It's like an over the top comedy show.

What, Ward and Fleury not enough for you? Imagine if I had a healthy team. Seriously...

Imagine if I had goaltending... Anaheim has goaltending issues that will prevent a top 6 finish, otherwise a very solid team. If Anaheim has goal tending issues, then so do you.

I jinxed myself with that last comment, 6 players hurt.
Against the top-6 teams (OTT,ANA,DET,SJ,WPG), I'm 0-6.
Against the bottom-6, I'm 7-0-2.
Will this be the week...?

I'm getting Sam Gagner'ed... I would be thanking my lucky stars that Colorado (foolishly) started Craig Anderson today if I were you. Otherwise it would be 3-8. Kovalchuk'ed.

LOL What a sham that just happened in that Anaheim/Carolina game. Blatant penalty, no call because it's OT? It was obvious and led to the goal, a disgrace of the game. Cheat and be rewarded. What a gift you just got there Derr, sickening.

Like that one?!? He's looking to kick some ass tomorrow. Just trying to play strategically, gotta do what you can when your opponent luckily gets to dress ten (10) more skaters than you during the week.

Pure domination. Even with a perfect storm week by Derr Derr he couldn't get it done. BEST IN THE WORLD injured. The Corey Perry Sham Ottawa's extra skater starts. Couldn't...get it...done. This is the song playing in my head right now: Let it stew, enjoy.

Only seeing what you want to see, I see. I am going to start beating myself more often when we face each other, just so I can see what sort of jack-assery you and your twisted sense of perception can come up with next. The entertainment factor is far more valuable than a couple of points in the standings. Well, maybe not for the team in 3rd place.
But anyway, all that is going through MY head right now is this:
