Does anybody here bet on games regularly? Sportsaction, etc. Anybody know of any good statistical sites? Preferably highly active, respectable places. Here's what I threw together as my 'test run', more likely than not I'll be happy to have kept my money. ;D March 2, 2013 (Test Drive) New Jersey over Buffalo Carolina over Florida Pittsburgh over Montreal Anaheim over Phoenix Vancouver over Los Angeles San Jose over Nashville Bet: $25 Win: $892.01 Bet: $50 Win: $1,784.03 Bet: $75 Win: $2,676.04 Bet: $100 Win: $3,568.05 ^ Different bet amounts and their payout for all 6 outcomes correctly 'guessed'. If I get even one wrong I'll never mention it again, but if I get them all right...I may have to rethink the 'profitability' of regular NHL betting.  Just to reiterate, this is just for fun, I haven't actually placed any bets.  |

It's possible, unlikely though, he could get the win giving me an extra point, but I could also lose 4 points. Flames do indeed suck though but by the numbers it's not a smart bet. Hmmm... Insights? 20 or more minutes played and 6 or more saves by Joey Mac (in relief) and you lose both SV% and GAA if you dont start Luongo. Just saying. You should probably wait and see how many offensive categories I take over of the 6 that are up for grabs before you make your final decision. I can understand you might be a little hesitant (scared) to start your goalies after the reaming you received last Sunday. But I will respect whatever decision you make. |

Hahaha, legit laughed out loud, I know. My goalies haven't exactly given me reason to trust them. I may start him to give you a sporting chance though. Joey Mac won't make any difference even if he's put in.

Pumped. We really should consider adding some stat categories next season. 20 goals and 23 assists is not equal to 10 goals and 24 assists. I'd suggest adding PTS, Hits, Blocks, FOW, SV making it 12 to 5 (player/goalie). Adding defensive stats is essential in my opinion. Good show Derrick, the better man won.  |
