I don't agree with trading these picks either and it definitely should be open to all prospects. This is an extra draft that we only have in Fantasy hockey. There are so many other factors in our league to consider let's keep this part simple.

The Atlanta Thrashers have officially been moved to Winnipeg. Congratulations to GM Tyler Gore on the relocation. The NAFHL front office wishes you and your team continued success north of the border.

Would have been nice to know in advance when the development team signings could start, that way we'd all have a chance to sign players.

The Yahoo League is now open. You should have received a confirmation/invitation email. Everyone needs to sign up as soon as possible so that I can start uploading the teams. Thanks.

Waivers will be in effect Thursday, October 6th, 2011 once the puck drops for the first NHL regular season game. Please finalize your rosters and make any last minute transactions before then. Thanks.

Can we get the IR situation fixed before tomorrow? At the top of the league page on Yahoo it says you (Commish) may not have imported the IR slots correctly and to check the settings. *quietly lobbies for 3 IR slots*

I created a new topic called "Anaheim ducks IR transactions" and put my IR transactions there. And then just dropped the player from yahoo roster. I understand that it's quite impossible to add IR slots to yahoo during the season.

I created a new topic called "Anaheim ducks IR transactions" and put my IR transactions there. And then just dropped the player from yahoo roster. I understand that it's quite impossible to add IR slots to yahoo during the season. Yahoo has realized its mistake and provided a tool to fix the issue. I have added 2 IR slots using this tool, so the problem should now be resolved.

Dear Anaheim Ducks,
Set your line-up on Yahoo and respond to PM's on the forum. Failing to do these things is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Thanks, Commissioner

Just a friendly reminder to GM's, particularly those who are near the bottom of the standings. I have seen a noticeable trend developing over the years (and the first few weeks of this season), and thought I would make an announcement. "Forgetting" to set ones line up is not a justifiable excuse for finishing lower in the standings and is considered "tanking." According to the rulebook, this violation is punishable by stripping and/or altering draft pick order at season's end should the problem persist. All league activity is monitored very closely, so I suggest we keep the integrity and fun factor as high as we possibly can by staying active and adhering to the rulebook.
Thanks.

So what exactly is a persisting problem? You can quite easily see that Boston has had his players benched for at least a couple of days of 4 out 5 matchups.

Should the problem persist...beyond the announcement above. My post was a formal warning of sorts, with hopes of it remedying the situation before things possibly get out of hand and/or turn ugly.

Just to make you feel better, I forget to set my lineup in my other league, too, where my team is regularly a championship contender (I won twice in the past three years). I'll try to do better, but I am extremely busy at the moment in real life (job stuff, new place, etc).
