Did not expect all 3 goalies to be gone by early 2nd round. Sorry Derrick looks like you'll have to dumpster dive and pull a random Euro goalie out of your ass for everyone to be after in 6 years. I do what I can. But you guys made it way too easy on me this year though...leaving the best goalie in this years draft class undrafted like that. Tsk tsk. |

Tomas Hertl (25th overall) will be entered into the 2012 Waiver Draft. No roster spot is/was available now/at the time of his drafting. Should he go undrafted, he will then be eligible to be freely signed upon the completion of the waiver draft.

Anyone else notice that the first seven picks in the draft were all made by teams that traded for those picks? I guess a lot of teams really wanted those top picks (or just really wanted Pavs)!

Great trade strategy there, devaluing your players like that, I would have never thought of that.  Changed your avatar to a giant ZERO too, such an early defeatist attitude, I'm enjoying it. Not 'The Big One' anymore?  Also, in what world does Scott Hartnell go 1st overall? Nice to see my old team being plucked away at first, it's certainly not surprising... Your opinion is based on the fact that you have no sense of how valuable a starting goalie is in this league. Not to mention one who can be sent to and from the farm all year AND kept for free. I guarantee you both Bobrovsky and Lindback put up better GAA and SV% than Pavelec and have similar W and SHO stats as well. |
