2 things... 1st, this Nylander was drafted in 2014 by the Leafs, I thought this draft was only available to this years draft class... 2nd, if this is allowed how in the world was he still available??? 🤔 Any player (regardless of real life draft year) that possesses prospect eligibility may be drafted in any Entry Draft. We typically don't see this happen because the best prospects from previous years are usually already signed/drafted and the remaining ones don't measure up to the top prospects available in the current draft year. However, Nylander slipped through the cracks due to asset mismanagement. He was left on the farm-farm team past 10 NHL games played and was forfeited to suspended waivers. In that case... Well played... Well played Robyn! 👏

Am I still getting skipped as a penalty? Apologies I was away on vacation for my first two picks You are getting skipped because you have missed your last 3 picks in 2 separate drafts, the most recent being potentially very damaging to a franchise. So instead of allowing this to happen I auto drafted the "best player available" according to real life NHL Draft order so that the potential new GM could at least salvage some talent from this draft. And by "new GM" I mean the one who was presumably going to replace you because you didn't inform anybody that you were going on vacation and/or allow someone to make selections on your behalf. As far as I knew, you went AWOL and weren't coming back. An explanation of everything that has happened so far per the rulebook: 7) Draft Procedures A) The 3 annual NAFHL drafts are (in order): The Prospect Draft, The Entry Draft, and the Waiver Draft. B) Each draft is a message board. H) Each GM will have 12 hours from the designated start time to make a selection. I) If any GM fails to make a selection, that pick will be skipped and will be automatically skipped for all selections until a selection has been made for the original skipped pick. I) If a GM is unable to make a selection in the 12-hour period, a GM may appoint another league manager to make the selection. 19) Warning System A) A 100% warning level is subject to removal from the league. B) Any GM who reaches a 100% warning level twice will automatically be removed from the league. C) Missing any pick in any draft will result in a 5% warning penalty. Any third infraction and beyond will result in a 10% warning penalty per infraction. D) Any roster violation will result in a 5% warning penalty. Any third infraction and beyond will result in a 10% warning penalty per infraction. E) Any instance in which a GM does not set his or her Yahoo lineup will result in a 5% warning penalty per infraction. F) Warning levels will be reset to 0% every June 1st.

Into the third day of this waiver draft and not even through the first round. We gotta keep this moving guys to much time between picks. Two guys should have been skipped on a 12hr time limit in the 1st round. Carolina you can pick anytime it's been 15hrs since Nos chose.
